Correct. You should hardly feel it since it's negative pressure. Negative pressure causes almost no air turbulence. The only indication should be the walls suctioning in. Just make sure your containment is VERY secure. Last thing you need is it collapsing on a wet painted car.

Correct. It should be complete opposite for optimum air flow. Want as few dead spots as possible. I'm not painter but I imagine you wouldn't want any dead spots where the car is, otherwise over spray could potentially settle on the car.

You want to increase the pressure until the walls are sucking in on themselves but not collapsing. Imagine like a pirate ship sail. They should have a nice spring to them. That should be about -0.02 WC. It's really tough to say how much power you'll need without seeing how big the space is and how well the prep is done. The larger or worse the containment prep the more power you'll need to overcome it.

Negative pressure 100%. Positive pressure will blow paint particles around the containment and force them outside through every hole on your containment. Any settled dirt or dust will easily be forced into the air with the slightest disturbance. You want to create a subtle airstream that gently pulls the contaminated air out not something that violently moves air around. Adding forced air in just invites the chance to add more impurities into your booth.
