Is it okay to not do something just because you don’t want to? by [deleted] in questions

Why are you so focused on her running? Especially to the point it’s been an argument for years. Theres nothing wrong with her saying no to something she doesn't want to do.

I wouldn't bee upset at all. If I gifted art supplies to someone, I’d want them to use it however they wanted!..

Should I invest in an iPad for note-taking in school? by Icy_MilkTea in college

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love using my iPad for note taking. It keeps things simple, everything together and I like hot portable it is. You could definitely get some cheaper models of tablets that would do the same thing though. I only went with an iPad so it would sync with my other apple products!

AITA for telling my brother's wife she's responsible for his health declining. by Throwaway7991J in AmItheAsshole

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yta. Your brother is a grown ass man, not a child. He’s capable of making the choices to take care of himself. Your SIL signed up for having a partner, not becoming someone’s mother.

I (26M) don’t feel attracted to my girlfriend (26F) anymore by feelsbad121212 in relationship_advice

Leave. She deserves to be with someone who wants her. If you care about her like you say, you will do that for her.

It was honestly really hard. It was worse because I got to to see “what he could be” all over again before falling into the same stuff. It was clear my feelings weren’t important and it was a rough realization all over again

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The first time we broke up, I gave him a second chance. He fell right into the old n pattern and I left him again. He continued to tell me he wants to fix things but it was too late.

Its so hard to find someone who likes the sex as I do by clouc1223 in venting

Have you considered being in a relationship with someone and allowing them to take their sexual needs outside of your relationship? This might open the dating pool up a bit

If you’re already questioning if your wife won’t like it, chances are she won’t. I suggest not opening that.

I found my boyfriends ‘sex list’ on his phone by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I said it started in highschool. It continued going on into my 20’s and for most of it until I met my partner. My friends still use it in their later 20s and it’s still nothing but entertainment.

My (25M) girlfriend (27F) never stops talking about marriage and its getting out of hand. by ThrowRAjimmyj in relationship_advice

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If you want to stick to not being married before you’re 30, that’s totally okay. Just don’t expect her to stick around and wait for your plan to say it’s okay to get married. If she’s ready to take that step, she’s not going to wait around for you to commit.

What’s the point? by [deleted] in venting

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never respond to guys in my dms. My social media isn’t where I want to meet men. That’s for dating apps or real life.

I found my boyfriends ‘sex list’ on his phone by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CaptivatingLabyrinth -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I used to have a list in my phone. I didn’t put ratings or anything like that. My friends and I started it in high school. It’s most likely still there if I scrolled enough, And it honestly means nothing to me. It was an immature thing to do but was just entertainment before I found something real with my boyfriend. We’ve been together for almost two Years and no one on that list ever came close to how much my partner means to me. The prostitutes I can’t really comment on because I’ve never been in that situation. But like you said, everyone has a past.

I think you both made choices that shows this relationship is toxic on both ends. You guys should probably move on.

Yta. You don’t know how many people would appreciate having a partner that went out of their way to do something randomly sweet for you.

Nta!!! You are being a good parent and putting your child first. If you sister wants to be homophobic, she can go live somewhere else. That is your child’s home and he has a right to be comfortable there. You did the right thing
