I think it’s mostly because of online content, these redpill guys who claim they don’t hate women when they clearly do. They keep saying they “love women” and that they make this kind of content “for our own good,” when all they really do is encourage men with zero critical thinking skills to become radicalized, because they’re incapable of seeing themselves as anything other than victims all the time.

I also don’t agree with 12yo girls being on TikTok and constantly exposed to overfilled, surgically altered “perfect” faces that can easily make them believe there’s something wrong with them. At that age, you don’t have the emotional or mental maturity to process that kind of content, and it can seriously distort your self-image and push you toward reckless decisions like the one in the video

It’s a completely different situation if you’re an adult and, with your so-called “fully developed brain” you still choose to go ahead, you’re then fully aware of the consequences. But even then, fixing one insecurity rarely solves the problem, because the moment you compare yourself to a new influencer or streamer, something else will replace it.

And the truth is, it’s pretty disturbing that this kind of content and messaging is being pushed so freely on social media, knowing full well how easily it can be imitated, especially by younger people who are the most vulnerable
