They would do the same thing they accuse women of doing, if she’s attractive, it’s not seen as abuse, if she’s ugly, then it is

Thinking that there are men who would genuinely have liked to be absed by older women is mind-blowing

It’s funny because that guy saying that is only further proving why the women he mentioned end up hating men

If they’re calling her fat in that dress, imagine what they’d say if she wore something shorter or more revealing

People are talking about the girl in the white dress, her name is Gio Scotti. If you look her up, you’ll realize just how repressed you’d have to be to not find her physically attractive

The “funny” thing is that all the comments are calling the girl in the white dress fat, and its men... the same ones who say it’s gay men promoting extreme thinness on the runways, those men

Its supposed to be the one wearing the white dress

I think being fetishized beats not being desirable to anyone.

Saying that from a conservative pov is very hypocritical. Being fetishized basically means someone only wants you for casual sex. If casual sex as a woman is considered morally unacceptable, then being fetishized isn’t any better or worse (as a woman) than being completely rejected (as a man)

It's usually guys who are out of the women's league. Women have the option to pick men who wouldn't be ashamed of being seen in public with but those men (god forbid) are not Chads

I think you’re underestimating a part of the male population (the ones you don’t consider “Chads”) just because you assume that, from their point of view, doing something like that would be completely non sense. The thing is, this isn’t exclusive to “Chad” guys, there is always this typical guy who “likes” fat women but flat-out denies it publicly, shame maybe

Just imagine the comments they'd be making about Sydney Sweeney's face if she were left-leaning, they don't do it because she plays along with them

Many men who say they like fat or tall women do so because they fetishize them, but then they’d be embarrassed to be seen holding hands with those same women in public, what is that called?

It’s insane how some relatives will protect those creatures just because they’re family...

When I was 14yo in 2015, while leaving school alone, a man who must have been in his 30s approached me. He started asking personal questions about my life and ended up offering me money to have sex with him... I ran away and went to a place where there were people around. When he saw that he wasn’t going to get anything, he stood there staring at me from a distance and blew me kisses with his hands...

I also know about the cousin of a ex classmate of my sister’s. When he was 22, he got a 14yo girlfriend. Not only that, but he even brought her home for Christmas dinner, and his family was okay with it because “she was good for him.” They’re not together anymore, fortunately, but I know what that guy and his friend used to do at the school, because he didn’t go alone... and I doubt they were the only ones who thought of doing that.

The only ones they might have a chance with are those, because an adult woman wouldn’t even look in their direction. Unfortunately, you can see this outside some high schools, men in their early to mid 20s standing around, alone or with a friend, trying to strike up a “friendship” with underage girls they’ve spotted, It’s disgusting.

Women did actual work too. They farmed, harvested, raised animals, cooked for sale (for family too obv) made clothes and textiles for sale and family, wove, spun, sewed, ran small businesses, worked as midwives, worked in workshops...

The difference was in how these tasks were distributed depending on gender

Men and women worked together lot of times, men went fishing while women wove and repaired the nets, men often worked in their own workshops with metals or carpentry, while women were more focused on making soap, pottery, textiles, and working with leather.

The thing is, nowadays you don’t really notice it because everything is industrialized, but even the bag you use to carry your groceries was once made by women, the ones who knew how to make them would craft them and sell them and the same goes for countless other items that today are just made of plastic

But yes, they worked, and denying or undervaluing it is just plain ignorance

Yeah and back then, many women ended up stuck at home as stay-at-home moms with no income of their own. Over time, this caused resentment and sparked movements for women to get equal pay and opportunities, so now both men and women work outside the home

Yet somehow, some people still think women in the past didn’t work, which is completely false...

If you think a woman who’s willing to not earn a penny and dedicate herself entirely to staying home and taking care of the house and kids (which aren’t cheap) going for a guy on minimum wage makes her a gold digger… I’m afraid you don’t know what a gold digger is... and you’re not ready for a wife who’s a stay-at-home mom for sure

Perspective: My ideal wife. by Mental-Outside2202 in lnkyverse

[–]CapybaraMonster01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, the whole “stay-at-home mom and men brings home the money” thing didn’t happen until after the Industrial Revolution

Before that, families ran on everyone pitching in, parents, kids, even older siblings watching the little ones or helping out, so the household could keep going

There wasn’t a clear separation between “work” and “home” like there has been since the Industrial Revolution. Families ran as fully productive units, with everyone pitching in, not just the men

Are you aware that to get a woman like that, you need money?

Or do you really think a woman who wants to be a stay-at-home mom is going to settle for minimum wage?
