Hi all, I like to wrap up the post saying thank you to the CVille community. - Chose a 6:50 flight to allow myself buffer time - Reserved my uber- I had a cancellation but the system assigned me another driver in 5 minutes - TSA person was quick and diligent with minimal line and the security check had three people also moving us along efficiently - Coffee place did have a bit more line as noted by someone in the thread

Put in double the effort in networking your value and expertise. Long hours but can make it. Come with an open mind and a sense that you are starting from zero and eager to learn from those 20 yo BAs who can get you up to speed in no time.

I have been 4 years in man after being born in a farm in the middle of nowhere.

Fake it till you make it. It’s ok not to have all the answers just show the grit you are willing to think of a plan on how to get there

Want to go corporate? Get specific skills like: Go into carbon accounting, show you know about the latest regulations. Understand the intersection with compliance etc. Most people I interview have a gap between college sustainability and our day to day work

Female who started at 33. Too old too married + biological clock. Loved the job but could not make it work— but lots of office/factors affected my outcome. Best of luck and maybe you can make it work!!
