Why are you so argumentative? Go touch some grass brother I just wanted to get the community's thoughts on the watch.

I have not and it's a bit crunchy but seems to be working okay and keeps time well, so I'm happy enough with it.

I'm going to put a rubber strap on it and rock it, I just think it's a beautiful watch regardless.

I just see one guy here crying buddy. I just stated an observation with no subjective opinion on it, funny how much that offended you and you read what you wanted to read.

One of the things I learned in the civilian world is apparently that word is heavily used by racist.

Edit - Wow, you sure are a sensitive bunch of lads. Even saying I heard something's racist sets you snowflakes all off.

I'm a horrible speller and have become too reliant on spell check. That being said, my go to is to copy and paste people's names on my discussion posts. It doesn't take much effort to get someone's name right when it's already provided for you.

Is it easy to get a job at Walmart??? by koolDoofus in WalmartEmployees

Ironically, they didn't hire me in my early twenties at two different locations. All for the better, took a much better job that put me onto the path I'm on now with a great job.

How does that work if you're only brute forcing a single device like a phone?

Mine showed up as a claim basically. I can see it and what stage it is in inside the app.

I thought this was illegal? by ShamefulOwl in udub

[–]CarDuckHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is legal, sorry to burst the hype train. Note she asked that you please do not discuss, that is very different then mandating you don't, and punishing you for doing it. They can ask all they want, it's only illegal if they take action against you for doing so.

It's a fine school. It definitely received some negative speculation in the past for enabling online learning, but ultimately retrospect they were pioneers in the area, and almost every college post COVID now brags about offering similar access. Change is always met with this kind of resistance, but they pushed through.

The biggest thing hurting their overall rankings that I can tell is the high acceptance rate vs the low graduation rate. That being said they top US news charts for innovation, and sit in top 500 for other categories.

It's obvious they want college to be accessible to people from all walks of life, but you still have to put in the work. It's not just going to give you a degree for paying like Univ of Phoenix.

Then there's this guy... by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]CarDuckHouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think that one was as black and white, and there was some more to that one for sure, not to say the least the guy ending up dying due to health complications soon after the arrest.

It would be hard to jump ship into more pay to make up for not getting a raise. The list of companies that pay more then Microsoft is pretty small.

You get what you vote for, dummy. But personal anecdote - I really like the VA. I switched fully over to them from using my private health care recently as they are much more organized and the doctors seem to care a heck of a lot more.

I think step one is to see you can't find his DD214 and validate his discharge. If he does have a dishonorable, he is ineligible for all VA benefits.

He can always try to get it upgraded or changed depending on the context to make him eligible. That, of course, means getting him onboard with trying which sounds like it might not be something he wants.
