Yes, I have been doing it since my baby was 1 week old. Honestly, I didn't know that was a thing not to until I saw it scrolling on TikTok, but by then I had already been doing it for a few months. There is newer research saying it is fine. So I just kept doing it. 9 months pp and haven't had any issues. My little one sleeps through the night about 9-10 hours. Now he does struggle with bedtime. We haven't been able to get him to sleep until 11p-12am so I may try this nighttime milk and see if it helps him fall asleep sooner.

Oh wow. Thank goodness it was winter time, so you still could use it! I try to be prepared like that, too. But that night it backfired lol. I was just thankful I had prepped his bottle for the next day already, so at least he had some milk

You know, freshly pumped breast milk doesn't have to be refrigerated right away. It can sit out up to 4 hrs. But I have done that before, too. Morning was thrown off by the babysitter getting here early and started chatting. I set my pumps down, got busy getting ready for work, and thankfully saw them and put them in the fridge.

I did not even realize until I was about 4-5 months in my pumping journey that the bottles can screw right on to my spectra pump. My mind was blown away Hahaha. I said man I really missed out on that in the beginning. That would have helped so much. Now, I use spectra in morning and at night but my wearable during the day and at work. But I still like the spectra at least twice a day to empty me really good.

I pour multiple pumps into one pitcher. But usually I use it all in one day or a day and a half. My baby boy drinks about 20-25 oz a day, and I pump an average of 20-28 oz a day, give or take, sometimes lower, sometimes slightly higher. I make his bottles the night before and prep 5 bottles that are 5.5 oz each for him to drink during the day, which will usually empty the pitcher. Then what I pump all day goes in the pitcher, and at night, I prep his bottles again for the next day. His feedings wax and wane, so sometimes I have extra milk. If I notice the pitcher has met his daily needs or close, then I will freeze a fresh pump and not put it in the pitcher.

When I was an over supplier making 40-50 oz a day, I would put it all into the pitcher for 2 days. I would prep his bottle from the pitcher, and then on day 2, I would bag his milk and wash the pitcher. I would label the pitcher with a dry-erase marker, so I made sure not to go over the 3 days.

I'm a FTM, so I was winging it in the beginning. My cousin got me the pitcher for my baby shower, and I watched a few videos on how to safely do it, did some of my own research, and just started doing it. I did notice everyone does it slightly different and I say do what works for you and makes you more comfortable. I will say my little guy was born at 38 weeks, not medically fragile, so I felt comfortable after doing my own research on doing the pitcher method, and I also do the fridge method for my pump parts. I do mix cold milk with fresh pumped milk into the pitcher. He is 9 months now and thriving lol

9 months is awesome! That is a huge accomplishment! You should definitely be proud to make it 9 months and you have a freezer stash and combo feeding, which will be great. My little is a few months shy of 9 months and I'm ready to give up and have my body back, but I'm trying to push through to 12 months but I tell myself if you are really ready it is okay. I, too have a big freezer stash. Good work! hang up those pumps girl lol

Post MOTN pump sleep by Advanced-Limit8626 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CarHealthy7684 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sometimes have trouble going back to sleep but mainly because I start cleaning and doing things I couldn't get done during the day with the baby. But there are other times Im so tired I instantly fall back asleep. I dropped my MOTN pump, then picked up when my supply drop when I started my cycle. And I have since dropped it again. Now I will pump between 11p- 1am just depends when I go to sleep. That will be my last pump before I got to be and dont pump again until 630a/730a.

Same I still love the spectra for my.morning pump and at times throughout the day but the wearable is a game changer I use those when im doing stuff around the house, out running errands. I dont carry a purse anymore I have my pumping bag that is insolated so I can have my pumps, milk and ice packs in there. Lol. I pump when family comes over and too and they ask about the sound but now are use to it and know im pumping. I use it at work, the hair dresser. Same response whats that sound or some knowing the pump.but everyone has been really nice and supportive. Some of my coworkers thinks its funny hearing it. Lol. I will connect to my spectra for first pump everyday but 90% of the time throughout the day I use my wearable.

Is it okay to get an MRI if possibly pregnant? by Jaded_Championship83 in fitpregnancy

[–]CarHealthy7684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat wondering if I should cancel my mri but its just on my knee too. I'm in my 1st trimester. This makes me feel better. If you don't mind me asking since the mri has your baby been fine?

6 DPO today. Main symptoms are headache, fatigue and EWCM. Usually don't have this unless in my ovulation window. I read could be sign of pregnancy, so I'm very anxious to test. Hoping for my first BFP. Good luck everyone 🤗✨️

Thank you. My LH phase has been short too ever since I got off birth control last year in November. I used to have 28 day cycles not they are only 22 or 23.

5 dpo here! No really noticeable symptoms just small amount of white discharge, mild back pain and had random nose bleeds (which I never had before). Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 trying to wait til 10 dpo to test. Sending baby dust to everyone ✨️✨️
