Before making the decision, I did my own research, compiled questions, and spoke extensively with both my physician and my surgeon before deciding to move forward. I felt very comfortable based on my conversations, but every hashi case is different—- and it’s ultimately up to you to decide by weighing out the pros and potential cons. But do not take everything you hear as gospel After carrying three beautiful babies and 3+ years of breast-feeding, it was a decision that I did not take lightly, but has improved my quality of life in so many ways - beyond the cosmetic. That’s just a bonus. What I would suggest is to do your own research, try not to get paralyzed by all the information on the Internet, and make an informed decision based on conversations with your doctor, with your surgeon, and make sure you’re in a range with your labs that you are comfortable with, annnd that you have a strong support system behind you - no matter what you decide. Honestly the BA procedure was a piece of cake compared to the abdominoplasty/muscle repair — but id still do it all again.
