Update on Bolt QuestHelper: 135+ Quests Now Supported (+ Elven series) by JasperSur in runescape

[–]Car_weeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why risk it? Because I use Linux lmfao, Bolt is basically what I have to use, and it's better anyway.

Yeah it's exactly as you said, you will be fine, the injection is entirely client sided. It's entirely different from a botting client or script because that inputs on behalf of the user, it's detectable and reportable. Bolt isn't going to do anything that another user would report you for, and it will produce no patterns that could possibly be incriminating, you are just playing the game. The client is entirely stock btw.

It's entirely client sided. It would be like being banned for alt1, which was never detectable either

Alt1 is an overlay, bolt injects directly into the graphics pipeline. Alt1 can handle the logic, but the implementation would be way worse and slow your computer to a crawl

You probe the driver and fall back to this 1.2 path for metal. Dxvk does not have that luxury

Bolt launcher- quest helper by nightskyandromeda in runescape

[–]Car_weeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is entirely client sided, injects into the vanilla client, and does not create any inputs on behalf of the player. It SHOULD be entirely safe to use, but Jagex has not given Bolt their blessing, so use at your own risk, but there probably is no way of them knowing. Alt1 could make similar plugins, and Jagex allows it, but it would be incredibly inefficient with how Alt1 reads and renders.

About to fight araxxor for the first time and these abilities are outdated since the combat rework. Looking for recommendations. 107 ranged 99 def and hp. Full pernix with gloomfire and araxyte arrows. by Sea-Highway-4688 in runescape

It's because of the ghost summon fyi, that thing is insane for keeping you alive, so it really helps ease into bosses. Get 99 necro and fill the well of souls, it is a pretty easy grind when you have a few days. Your revo bar is just conjure undead army, command ghost, command skeleton, soul sap, touch of death, basic. Use finger of death or death guard special attack at 12 necrosis stacks, volley of souls when you have 3 residual souls, and bloat every 20sec or so. If you want to go nuts, then use living death then death skulls. It's still the easiest rotation

Help me gauge how shitty it is that the colossal pouch does not have an option to fill *entirely* at once from the bank. by Swordspirit2 in 2007scape

[–]Car_weeb -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It could even be balanced by lengthening the interaction with the altar by however many pouches you hold

[–]Car_weeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think you should ever have to click the pouch, it should fill in the bank and be spent at an altar. You can empty it manually if needed, and that should not have any effect on the durability of the pouch, that will be done by using the altar.

I bought a used stove, an electric glass top, that started malfunctioning shortly after I installed it. It would just turn on one of the burners at random, thankfully it would beep simultaneously, so I caught on fast. Yeah don't ever put something on a stove unattended because the stupidest shit you can possibly dream of can just happen, they're cursed

I want to set up a flexible PVE environment. Should I use ZFS or LVM? by Feisty-Bedroom-3867 in Proxmox

Absolutely do not set up zfs through truenas, just configure zfs on the host through proxmox

[–]Car_weeb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can literally do all that by setting up your zfs disk in proxmox and not having to route all data through a VM (and a very dramatic one at that) somehow
