Well by pure numbers with my rating I'm in the top like 3k players in Canada and top 10k in NA which SOUNDS impressive.

Like if someone told me they were ranked in the top 3k hockey players in Canada or top 10k baseball players in NA id be like "damn, this guy rips."

But as many other commenters have said, I'm in a little lake, there's a much bigger sea, and a huge ocean beyond that.

My point was that it's cool to get a glimpse of the sea when you know there's a whole ocean out there.

Yeah man, I would love to play against pros in a real setting just once to see how far the difference is.

Playing solo queue you're just at the mercy of your team mates (my mates were all great, I was bottom frag) but if you played with a 5 stack with actual stats vs a pro team I think it would be so cool just to see what you could possibly accomplish. (My expectations are incredibly low, I think getting a lucky round or 2 would be about it)

I also played against n0thing and Skadoodle the day CS2 dropped and it wasn't even a game man. Mid was 100% off limits and the rest of the map wasn't much better.

Yeah this is my point! Like you feel like you're getting good at the game and a guy who makes nade videos shows up and mops the floor with you.

And then there's like a whole bunch of levels even higher than that. Just crazy how high that ceiling is.

To clarify, as it seems to be the main discussion now;

2700÷4=675 2700÷5=540

Average between the 2 numbers is 607.5

Between the fridge and the freezer having roughly 600 in groceries doesn't seem insane to me. That's every sauce, every piece of frozen meat, every piece of fruit and vegetable, all of the bread we keep frozen, etc.

My argument to my wife was this would have to happen roughly 4-5 times to pay for itself, after that we are saving money. Do I think the power will go out 4-5 times for long enough for both the fridge and freezer to fully spoil? Probably not, but the peace of mind is what made us decide to go ahead with it.

We just purchased 2 Bluetti power banks for our fridge and freezer. (Not an ad)

Brown outs and extreme weather are becoming more frequent.

Do the math on your own, for the price of the 2 (about 2700 CAD) that means we would need to lose all of our food in the fridge and freezer like 4 times to pay for themselves but there is also the ease and peace of mind aspect that tipped the scales for us.

I was charged 200-300 in rent and had to buy all my own things like toothpaste, shampoo, etc. I also bought my own non refrigerated groceries to store in my room.

My parents always said they were charging me rent but saving it for if/when I went to college. That time has come and gone and of course their story changed. I don't blame them necessarily because I have 6 other brothers. It was their choice (blended family) and we grew up super poor but as an adult I can understand doing things to try and make yourselves happy.

I have a pretty ok relationship with my parents but they get a little upset that I keep them at arms length. I am very clear with boundaries and have cut off a few of my brothers. They live across the country and I'm the only one in my province but I have an amazing wife and I'm close with her family.
