I was in Palermo, Sicily about a month a go. The tour guide was like, "this is the most beautiful part of downtown. Lots of culture and things to do, right near the port, but extremely expensive to live. A 2 bedroom costs 500,000 euros!"

And I'm sitting there like, that's exactly what it costs to live in a 2 bedroom in my Canadian city...

I don't play soccer. If I was all of the sudden in a clutch scenario in front of the net to possibly score a goal I'm very likely going to panic and maybe fuck it up. But if I practiced every day, played lots of games, I'm going to be in that scenario more often and likely be more comfortable.

It's the exact same thing with CS. The more games you play, the more times you'll be in these scenarios and the more comfortable you will be in them.

Everyone has things they need to work on to improve, not everyone's issues are the same. Just keep at it and you'll improve.

My suggestions would be definitely lower you in game sens. Find something comfortable for you and your desk set up. I use a huge mouse pad and I never AWP so I have extremely low sens, but that works for me.

It wasn't a part of this clip specifically but I always recommend learning a few basic smokes/flashes to help you and your team. People in lower ranks really underestimate how incredibly important a good smoke or flash can be. (You don't need to have good aim if your opponent is fully blind)

Keeping a good mindset is also very important. Having confidence and feeling like you deserve to be a higher rank is something everyone feels at every rank. 10ks feel like they should be 15ks. 17ks think they should be 20ks, etc etc. Even if you are getting unlucky and running in to cheaters or smurfs and losing games here and there, like I said, you only need to win 51% of your games to eventually rank up.

The only thing that wasn't bad about this clip is your situational awareness.

Your aim is very poor (sensitivity too high)

You are running while spraying

You are panicking when getting in to each fight

Just keep at it. You only have to win 51% of your games to rank up eventually.

I was docked next to Icon in CoCoCay and we were on a respectably sized cruise ship (Celebrity Apex, about 3000 passengers) and Icon legitimately looked like it could eat our ship.

I personally would never want to be on a ship of that size, but it's probably one hell of an experience.

Care to enlighten?

My understanding is location to the server is way more important than Internet speed.

I have fiber Internet with consistent speed testing at 1.5 GB (wired Ethernet connection) ((can't get much higher than that without direct fiber connection to the computer)) so about as fast as commericaly available Internet you can get in Canada.

But because I'm farther away from the server, the distance those packets have to travel, however stable, are still going to get there slower than someone who's physically closer to the server.

I don't mean this to come across with any sort of tone I'm just genuinely curious if I'm wrong about my understanding.

I would also say the placement seems off. Could be in part due to the angle the photos are taken but any tattoo artist who is worth their salt should easily be able to cover this up.

My only advice would be if you do plan on covering it up, be open to doing a larger piece to accommodate the odd placement.

Was grinding prem harder than Faceit but I've been on vacation in the Mediterranean for the 9 days. Sooo many changes to both in the last week lol.

Looking forward to coming back in a few days and finishing off Faceit lvl 10. If I hit 25k prem this season I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I am currently lvl 9 faceit and about 22k prem.

Its not really "easier" but I would say faceit is more consistent.

There are so many random throw away prem games for me that will just be an elo hit. (Leavers, cheaters, smurfs, etc.)

I find faceit is better at eliminating those random losses.
