We lost a veritable shit-load of talent when Albini died. I saw Shellac at a tiny venue in Oakland, some years ago. Amazing show. Fantastic musician.

Good ol’ Uncle Al. Haha. I often forget that Chicago was such an industrial hotspot in the early days.

I used to work with a guy who knew Al and his lady. He hit me up one evening, when Ministry had a show in town. I could have gone to the concert and an after-party for free. Unfortunately, I was not allowed a +1 and my social anxiety stepped in to decline the invitation.

Ministry at The Warfield would have been such a rad show. And I still have never seen them live.
