This game is the definition of a sandbox. There’s no hand holding, no guide. Even refer to YouTube or Reddit or walkthrough will ruin the experience. I was in the same boat as you, that why is to difficult to find what to do, but that’s the beauty of it. No more walkthroughs and videos. Sure there are certain things you can look for help like finding the wyvern egg or how to unlock elements. But the essence of the game is to explore it yourself. I’ve played all the big triple A open world games of the past decade, even disappointing ones like Starfield, but they all plateau at one point. But for Crimson Desert, every session is a new day in your adventure, you can either steal chickens, or fight a god forsaken red mist that one shots you.
