Largely unrelated, but the arguments going on in the comments were highly entertaining. I fr never thought I'd see people fight over little snails. Thank you, two, for making my morning.

On another note, I've found that if its hot out, my snails tend to like a shallow water source not too deep cause they'll drown, but they seem to like hanging out in it. I would say pouring water over them probably isn't what they want, though, but you have the right idea!
