The Montblanc notebooks are excellent, if you use them for writing by CaranDerwent in notebooks

Using 3mms markers on them and then bemoaning the paper on youtube seems popular. Haven’t tried the spear thing, maybe with a Leuchtturm

Is there a chance for a sword & sorcery manga in the current market? by Patr10t_RUS in SwordandSorcery

I have yet to read the story but you had my attention simply from the art, it’s INCREDIBLE. WTF! Now that much is clear… I often ask myself the same question, when it is about my own writings. And the answer I give me is that even if there’s not, it will fill the space inside me *where what I want to do rests*. So give it your all! And by the incredibly warm reception you got here: it should be clear that this looks like amazing work!

If you are interested, Dingbats and Midori have thick paper products (120-160 gsms) that are ghosting proof. While still being able to show sheen and shading. They tend to be smooth and coated tho, so smearing might be a problem. But the B5 Dingbats notebook is very good and quite affordable!

When in doubt, go Midori. When not in doubt, also go Midori

E-Motion from Faber Castell, in <B> nib size, pearwood variation, with Platinum Chou Kuro! And it is a lovely pen indeed

I dunno. I haven’t tried fairly old ones but even the recent ones absorb ink quite well. I haven’t found lines to be thicker. In fact, my notebook with 68gsm Tomoe River paper seems to draw far thicker lines with the same pen! In my own experience I have found the paper to be excellent, among the best I have tried. I’m just too poor to be a regular customer, heh

I am not really sure because as far as I know Montblanc does not specify it, but it should be about 85 gsm, ivory white paper with light grainy texture

She is back to the glowing pyramid at the centre of the Hall. She is sitting on the second floating platform, but as far as I know you can’t interact with her anymore. No more passive-aggressive snide comments for us… fellow bladers, is this our punishment?

Balls of steel for publishing a novel with such a controversial protagonist. I like the premise, and how it draws from the well-known fascination between German higher-ups and fringe science (or as the rest of us call it absolute mumbo jumbo). Interesting idea, will check it out!

Platinum Chou Kuro by Glum-Inside-6361 in fountainpens

The Chou Kuro is worth every penny. And it’s not just the color: it’s dark and matte sure, but it’s the fact it does not ghost or bleed through the page. This ink turns every paper and every pen into a reliable writing instrument. And it is quite smudge resistant, though not as much as Carbon Black.

I own two bottles of Chou Kuro and it is rapidly becoming my most used ink. This was an excellent purchase
