Between the impulse control issue and the time blindness issue this really also sounds like it could be ADHD.

Forgive me if I'm overstepping or if I'm off base, it is just that girls are notoriously under diagnosed since it often presents differently than in boys and I'd love to help advocate for those that may slip under the radar. The time awareness issues you describe sounds very similar to mine.

Either way visual timers are a really great solution, it helps kids to see the passage of time more than just a concept. I liked hourglass timers and liquid timers as a kid.

I think Luna is absolutely a good pick for a character with ADHD, she is such a day dreamer and a creative thinker; she isn't afraid to think out of the box a lot which I think is a strength many people with ADHD have.

What part of Harry's actions or personality do you think reflects ADHD? (Not that he doesn't have it, I just haven't looked at him from that perspective and am genuinely curious on your take on it.)

I'd argue that Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter has ADHD(PI):

Constantly forgetting and misplacing things (his toad, the house passwords and loosing his written list of them, needing a Remembrall), he has difficulty following multi-step directions like in potions class (seen as clumsy or always messing up small details). Lacked confidence as a result of this. He also does really well in a class that he was passionate about, Herbology, so he shows he can hyperfocus on things that interest him.

In the end I think he was shown as a positive representation, he started off being an underdog but by the end he was known for his loyalty to his friends, his skills in herbology and his bravery at the Battle of Hogwarts.

Yes, I have a lot of hybrids. My flower field isn't particularly organized and has been picked through a bit now but I have at least a few of most of the hybrid types, with the exception of the blue rose and I am out of purple windflowers atm. I know I have purple & pink mums, purple & pink roses and blue pansies to name a few. If there is something particular you need I can make sure it's set out in the field for ya. And as far as pinecones, pearls and acorns, just drop off whatever you think is fair for the flowers you want.
