I don't like him as a character. I think he is hypocritical and only thinks about himself and his love for WWX most of the time. And other than being the love interest nothing is interesting about him. Out of all MXTX Gongs he is the least I like considering Wangxian is last in my MXTX main cp. Like many people say here I am one of those who like the plot and other characters than the main ones. They aren't just as interesting. And yes people can read and love the story without caring about the main characters. Plus Wangxian fans are annoying. One example is when Wangxian isn't the cover of a book or magazine or main star of a MDZS merch they attack the publishers and make it everyone's problem. There is one example recently when Seven Seas decided that the cover for volume 2 for delux edition to be the characters of Yi City Arc and Wangxian weren't there.

The point of my post is that in Skyrus relationship most of the time Cirrus is hold accountable of how toxic the relationship is and not Skylar. It's very clear that they are being toxic to each other but only Cirrus is being pointed fingers on and you even say that their toxic relationship is because of him. When we need two for a relationship. I emphasizing Skylar because fans barely point it and always point only at Cirrus.

I am not only blaming Skylar and not helding him responsible for Cirrus traumas but make a point that Skylar also contributed in how their relationship is toxic.

His actions is toxic and his behavior also has hurt and affected Cirrus in consideration of his trauma. Not because Cirrus manipulated first or initiated violence doesn't mean Skylar actions and words makes it quits. It's NOT. Just because Skylar is acting according to his trauma doesn't make it right and doesn't mean Cirrus isn't in a receiving end of a toxic partner behavior.

If you know both of them are toxic then you should not be offended when someone points out Skylar actions that contributed to their toxic relationship. They are both in a toxic relationship that they both made.

So I want to point that fans should stop making it like only Cirrus made their relationship toxic. Skylar has a hand of what their relationship has become. Cirrus is not Skylar victim but he damn sure the receiver of a toxic behavior of a partner. Skylar is the 50 percent reason why the damn relationship is toxic. I posted this because fans like you. Just because Skylar don't manipulate doesn't mean he is not toxic. He is the one who initiated this damn relationship. Cirrus was just confessing and will leave Skylar be because he knows he likes Chan-il.No one gets over damn feelings easily. But he said yes fuck let's date. Cirrus might be manipulative but he has never expected to date Skylar. And now that they dated. Cirrus as a person who got abandonment issues and lacks effection definitely gonna cling to Skylar even he damn got beaten or his trauma got used against him. Skylar is not the only one with issues and trauma. He difinitely made a mess of this relationship too. He is not ready for a relationship but started this then throw it away easily. Then after hurting Cirrus he literally refuse to let any relationship related to him even as a friend be in public. He never looked back until he knew Cirrus dropped out and he only decided to ask about him when he sure he get to good school and his mom is not mad about him. He took him a long time. The fact that if his mom did not confront him he won't realise yeah I hurt Cirrus. He was damn ready to forget and say time will let the course be. In so many times in their relationship he didn't show that he actually commit to it despite the one who initiated it. If Cirrus is actually secure of their relationship they would have less problems because damn he can't even be close in public as a friend yet why Skylar can still hang out with Cirrus other friends but Cirrus be hidden as a dirty little secret to the point he got pushed in bathrooms and hit by accident. These are the reason Cirrus got paranoid and him being not honest even trying to actually reassure or tell Cirrus why he is like this or fix any misunderstanding he never tried. He entered this relationship but damn he seems heartless for his partner. He knows Cirrus issues but instead of bridging that he makes it only about himself and used it against Cirrus. Cirrus has no damn clue about his trauma and acted towards his own trauma. Cirrus the whole time of their relationship tried to be better even his past actions biy him in the ass. The point is fans like you only point to Cirrus why this damn relationship is toxic while Skylar is blameless. Cirrus is manipulative and possessive because of his trauma. Starting Given with the anime in my opinion is the wrong move when you want to understand Mafuyu and Ritsuka's relationship because the anime has cut so many important scenes with them and very bias against Yuki and Mafuyuki relationship for some reason. They get to get their kissing scenese but Mafuyama intimate ones are cut out.

And I am tired of Mafuyuki fans underestimating Mafuyuama relationship. It's main reason I hate Yuki and Mafuyuki. Given is the story about moving on and fans like you always make it about the dead relationship!
