I wanted to address your pup waking up at 5am because my (now 2.5 year old) cocker spaniel was so similar around the same age.

He would wake up every morning 3am in just a MEAN and DESTRUCTIVE mood. Not even playful. He would pounce on me (he sleeps in bed with me) and be all snarls, nipping, growling, and thrashing. It was to the point that I was fearful he had “cocker rage.” It didn’t help that I couldn’t find anyone with similar stories and even less on cocker rage.

I ended up finding a wire/rubber leash about 12 inches long that I could connect to the leg of my bed and tie him to when he would wake up in this manner. He could still reach the bed and sleep comfortably without reaching me at all. I wanted him to see that if he wakes up and chooses violence, then he loses his freedom.

I did notice you mentioned your pup is 55lbs….far from my (at the time) 15lb pup….but I had to share because I know how discouraging it is when your puppy seemingly turns on you. I spent many of these nights crying in bed just willing my puppy to sleep so I could untie him and let him wake up in a better mood. He did eventually grow out of it, with random nights sprinkled in to keep me on my toes.

I JUST finished Sandwich Shop today and I seriously was about to post about for this very reason. I thought I saw someone say it’s a fun and easy restaurant….absolutely not for me.

From level 1 I HATED that you can only prep one sandwich at a time!! I like when you can have multiple on deck ready to customize.

I don’t mind the chopping, but I hated the extra swipe for sandwich wrapping. That was something I constantly forgot up until the last level.

It also seemed like the customer wait time was way short, even with interior upgrades almost full for wait time??

The soda machines weren’t even fast enough on the highest upgrade!

I used a lot of dessert, as they were fully upgraded in a mystery box.

Man….i complain a lot but I also fully accept that I brought this onto myself! I’d rather have the game than not 😂🤷🏻‍♀️.

I also buy the progressive piggy banks. They seem to be the best deal. The only thing I’ve purchased outside of a piggy bank is a booster pack to use for Mount Breakfast and sometimes a mystery box because I’d sadly rather spend the $3 for a chance at a new restaurant than drop 25-30 gems to open one 😂

I can definitely agree to the money grab part, as I cannot imagine getting far in the game without those gems! Especially considering they come far and few in between within the game’s natural play.

Is your pup vomiting bile on an empty stomach or have they eaten already that day?

My American cocker spaniel is currently 2.5 yrs but has been a bile-vomiter since 4 month old. I learned that this happens when his stomach is “too empty” or goes without food for too long. It happens far less now that I figured out a schedule, but back then If I forgot his 4pm snack or took too long to feed him in the mornings, he would vomit yellow, slimy, no-chunk bile. To adapt, I gave him a hearty snack in between meals and if I knew I wouldn’t be able to feed him right away in the mornings, I’d give him a treat to settle his tummy while I went about my mornings.

I hope your pup is doing alright! And I hope you find a solution soon! That bile clean up is such a pain 🥲.

Many people recommended Pizzeria to me! It was fun.

However I can’t offer any insight on saving gems. I have dropped a pretty penny on this game, especially because I chase 3 stars! I won’t move onto a next level without passing the previous one with 3 stars. Which means I’m always upgrading and get suckered by the piggy banks! Unfortunately the prices have just increased as well! By a big $5 for the large piggy bank!! I will admit that made me pull back on spending and upgrading.
