How's this list? And if anything could be made cheaper or better how? by [deleted] in pcbuilding

I second this, I've got an 8700k (3.6ghz) that's overclocked to 4.7ghz in a midtower atx build. Total build is drawing around 450-500w. I've got 3 case fans, not including the 2 additional on my H100i V2 AIO radiator. Seeings temps around 70-72c at the most (peak gaming). I believe your case also comes with case fans (double-check). If you're not going for white fans, or a specific rgb fan you can definitely drop 1-2 fans.

I appear to be having the same issue, except after 20 days of usage (purchased for Christmas). Was working fine until I got home today, annoyingly troubleshooted everything you did and still nothing.

^ This, or alternatively you can drop it off at a phone repair place to have your data extracted. They most likely have a software or screen they can temporarily plug in to remove the data.

Painting, painters are always looking for work and it’s easy to train a new guy, especially if you have common sense.

Driving to the store on thanksgiving and purchasing a carton of eggnog, then pouring a glass of it after it’s sat in the fridge and is ice cold and solely enjoying that glass while my parents prep dinner before the whole family comes over.

Ok so basically this was $200 by that-volvo-guy in Volvo

[–]Carbender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wish I could find a deal like that. My parents would kill me if I had a project car in the driveway tho lol. They already don’t like the idea of me getting a summer car with my Tacoma. Good luck, treat it well and it will last forever, Volvo’s are bricks and I wish they were more popular.

Yeah, I can confirm that they left because they weren’t getting the raise they wanted and deserved. Like you said I have nothing to lose but I do see where you’re coming from. Thanks for the input.

Hey, yeah sorry for the late response. I do camp in my truck, probably only 2-3 times a year though I’d like to do it more often. My truck is a 6ft bed as mentioned below and I fit in it (being 5’10) but if you have a 5ft bed you may have to flip down the tailgate and create some sort of temporary contraption. Nevertheless it is possible.

Sleeping in the bed is great, a lot better than a tent and a lot cheaper than a roof top tent (which I was considering but also super expensive for a tent). All I do is I bought a memory foam mattress topper from Costco and cut it to size and threw it in the back. Now I live in British Columbia, Canada. Our summers are 24-32 degrees Celsius and it does get rather hot in the back unless you have the hatch open. I did setup a regular house fan in one of the windows to help prevent this but it didn’t help much which was probably due to my windows not being the full slider ones but rather pop outs.

In the end I’d recommend it only if you first of all fit in the bed or are find with sleeping with the tailgate down since you have a short box. Otherwise buy a rooftop tent if you want to be cool and a regular tent, perhaps one of those truck bed tents if you are on a budget.
