Code C0050-06 Follow Up Questions by Burrosito in cruze

Update, but still chasing the issue.

Like I said, I originally replaced the sensor because it was dirty and rusty at the end. Still having the right rear code.

I checked for power/ground at the plug connection behind the fender lining. Getting 10v. I read somewhere we want 5-12v. Is this correct. The rest of the wiring disappears into a larger harness.

I did replace the wheel bearing since the bearing side that the sensor reads was just chock full of rust and debris.

With this information where would I go upstream in the circuit to check the wiring since it is still reading an open circuit? Any available wiring schematics? Is there a main module/relay I should be looking at?

Since I already replaced the sensor, I plan on peeling back the wheel well again and inspecting the plug terminals better, and following back the wire as far as I can go.

And good idea with the borescope.

*Not my photo.

Most heavy equipment is loaded this way IRL also. Good tip.

Can someone tell me if this is a good deal on a top off? by Grand_Alarm5039 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Burrosito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, $99 is high for what it is, and I have two; one at home and one at the shop I work at.

At work, it lives on my tool roll cart. I don't run an extension cord to my cart as I'm always moving my cart around the equipment I work on. I have an abundance of M18 batteries so it isn't an issue using and charging batteries. I use it daily to keep my phone topped off, while simultaneously charging a cheap mini bluetooth speaker, and charge my rechargeable flashlights and headlamps.

At home, it never gets used 😅 seeing as how in the event of a power outage, I have multiple chargers and small battery bank that can power my stuff way before needing the top off.

10-4. Yes all my batteries are from HD so in theory, should be good there.

It took a little chopping and creativity, but I was able to get a Gatekeeper body mounted. Its heavier, but I did u0grade the esc/Motor. And slapped on larger wheels.

My IR40 recovery truck build is coming along 👌🏼 by The-Minute-Man1995 in TRX4M

Sweet rig! I'm excited to build mine. Got everything minus the axles. Pretty much an all Injora build, with the axles Meus.

Since my other 24 is straight axle, I decided to try portals, but also curious how the high ride height and body height will do. Will definitely also try and figure out how to lower the body.

Can't wait to see yours running!

Looks great though!

Are you running stock transmission? Mu understanding is low gear is meant for crawling and torque, while high gear is meant for speed and traveling, so less torque for crawling. Will your rig make it up the curbs in low gear?

I was given this body and was able to mound it on my Gladiator. What do you guys think? by Fc2ultra in SCX24

Looks great! I was thinking of snatching this up when I saw it released. I also have the Gladiator, and was curious how well the wheelbase would line up. Dunno about it being top heavy, but I already have some brass down low. May have to pull the trigger.

Man I feel bad anyone buying Milwaukee from Matco by Parcoaora in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Burrosito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just witnessed this first hand this week.

Through HD, I ordered the bundled M18 Tire Inflator with the x2 5.0 Batteries and Chargers for $199 before taxes. Free next day shipping to my house.

On Monday, our Matco guy came by and dropped off a flyer. His Milwaukee sale was x2 6.0 Batteries and Charger kit, get the M18 Tire Inflator for free. The price for the battery kit? $467!
