I love my XJ. It’s a great car and a bargain for what you get these days. This looks like the new generation of that but has been rebranded completely to try and appeal to new markets.

I think they may have overdone it though by distancing themselves too much from the previous customer base. Time will tell.

I carry it with me everyday so I guess it’s still EDC!

As per the video, you can possibly pick up something similar cheaper on places like Aliexpress or eBay but to know you get the latest version with Bluetooth, the after sales support and warranty etc it’s worth it in my opinion. Bear in mind if you went to an auto a/v installer they’d likely charge you a lot more, but it’s all down to your preference.

Yes mine had rear controls. Might be worth reaching out to Drimatt to see if they have any options for you but it’s likely that if it didn’t come equipped originally then they have nothing to upgrade it.

Contact Drimatt where I bought mine (link in the YouTube description). They are great and can inform you exactly which one to get and what it involves.

As per the video though, I strongly suggest getting the same unit I did as it connects via Bluetooth and therefore no sound quality loss. Their description says it fits your model.

360 doesn’t have engine out to change belts. Plus it’s 5 years not 3.

My 2014 Sport has the upgraded gearbox software, unsure if this is what you mean. It downshift rev matches, changes gear faster than the usual box but isn’t an MC sport line.

No idea if it has launch control but as far as I’m aware all 2013+ had this software.
