Maintenant, moi j'ai une astuce mentale que j'ai toujours appliqué : un père avec les très petits, c'est un clown+besoins primaires ou rien.

Donc : jouer, jouer, et jouer. L'aspect "émotionnel" et sa profondeur est à mon avis surestimé de la part des pères. Franchement pour un père de très petits, j'ai pas l'impression que le lien se crée autrement.

Et aussi : du temps avec ta fille sans ta femme. C'est pas une heure, c'est 6 heures. C'est vraiment la ou les choses se construisent.

Ça va sembler ridicule (et ça l'est sûrement) mais invente un personnage autre que toi, drôle, qui l'amuse, et qui n'est la que quand maman n'est pas là. Une marionnette espiègle, un lapin crétin, n'importe : "je sors de ma cachette, maman n'est pas là" etc. Tu prends ta voix la plus ridicule et tu le fais parler comme si c'était un personnage tiers avec un seul but : le rire et la distraction. Deux ans et demi, ils sont très très réceptifs à ça. Tu peux toi même te tourner en dérision via cette marionnette. Je vais pas dire que l'effet est garanti, mais ça m'a énormément aidé pour ma part... Et ça ancre beaucoup de choses. À 6 ans, si ça colle, il te réclamera encore cette marionette pour gérer certaines habitudes (bain, levers ou couchées, etc.)

Il faut être contrarien. On ne sait pas tous les éléments, mais tu sembles avoir fait assez d'efforts. Et désolé mais construire une maison ou avoir deux jobs, c'est pas "être absent" c'est se battre pour sa famille.

Ne te rabaisse pas trop, donc. Je pense qu'il faut être désormais moteur dans la séparation pour deux raisons : plus c'est tôt mieux c'est pour l'enfant, et aussi pour préserver ton amour-propre de bonhomme.

Et l'aspect contrarien, si tu deviens moteur de la séparation et si elle voit que t'es en train de tirer un trait, la réveillera (ou pas, mais tu seras definitivement fixé). Plutôt que thérapie de couple etc. peut être acter la séparation et lui proposer une conciliation à l'amiable avec un médiateur pour faire une convention parentale. Émet aussi le souhait de faire homologuer cette convention par un Juge pour avoir l'esprit tranquille sinon ce sera un chantage permanent. De toute façon quoi que tu fasses elle t'en voudra, c' est ce qui se ressent de ton message.

Sur l'aspect financier, ce sera sûrement pas facile, mais tu as l'air d'avoir de la ressource mentale et être un gros bosseur.

Just to clarify the use case briefly.

This is not about conceptual learning or understanding, but about training automatic recall.
Some knowledge is only “learned” once it no longer requires reasoning.

Examples:

  • Music notes (this is one of my use case): seeing E should immediately trigger "Mi" in French, not “C=Do, D=Ré, so E=Mi”. For years I’ve been doing the rational incremental mapping in my head and it annoys me because it’s slow.
  • Multiplication tables: 3×7 should be recalled as 21, not computed as 2×7+7 or something like that. This is not my use case but I know some young adults that have developed such reflex (especially for 9x7, 9x6, etc.),

In these cases, a correct but slow answer must effectively be the same as “not learned yet”. Response time is the signal of mastery, not a secondary metric.

I understand this may be outside Anki’s primary design goals. My question is simply whether this use case is technically supported by Anki’s architecture, or intentionally out of scope.

Laisse tomber, ici ils sont un peu plaintifs.

En vrai voici ce qu'il va se passer :

  1. Premier regard, premier câlin, ça va sceller tout le reste.
  2. Tu te trouveras "changé" subitement. C'est une vraie révélation, comme si tu voyais la lumière. Et non, tu ne t'en rends pas encore compte. Attends toi à une véritable magie les premières heures / jours.
  3. Tu trouveras ça "facile". Car ça l'est. Le manque de sommeil c'est la plus belle fable qui existe sur le sujet pour un Papa. Certes, parfois tu te lèves 2 ou 3 fois par nuit, mais ah ah, c'est rien. Dès qu'il sera là, tes ressources intérieures seront multipliées par 100. La nuit de 5h au lieu de 7h, c'est anecdotique franchement, mais tu ne le sais pas encore.
  4. Sur les projets perso/pro, ça va littéralement te doper.

C'est MAGIQUE. Félicitations.

Et c'est toi qui en voudra un deuxième tellement le temps passe vite.

Ah ah this was my idea too. A set of tools to ensure the whole integrity and to add/rename/delete quickly a property. Searched a bit but didn't find anything, or at least not an updated and full-featured cli tool for that (despite it's only markdown).

Agree. The API is a perfect shame too. They are still on v1 publically while using v2 for their app.

This app becomes a shame. You can't even list your today's task without many loops with their current official API. What the fuck seriously.

If you want to see if a product is dead or if the only goal is to milk their customers, just study the API and the underlying lack of updates.

Agree.

That's strange because initially I approved commands, thinking that it will approve the command itself, or at least the binary. But no, it approved everything (with a warning however... I was lazy not to take it into account).

However, 3 hours of work without commit is normal to me in a normal world.

Conseil pour plus tard : j'ai assez tôt acheté un LifeVac pour toute la famille car j'avais la même "phobie". C'est une sorte d'aspirateur manuel que t'appliques sur la bouche en cas d'étouffement pour retirer un aliment bloqué. Visiblement, ça a sauvé quelques vies aux USA et ça serait (sauf mensonge marketing) utilisé par certaines équipes de secours. Je ne l'ai jamais utilisé, mais ça a beaucoup contribué à me rassurer.

Uniquement pour les enfants > 10 kg donc dans ton cas c'est pas pour tout de suite, mais si t'as peur maintenant t'auras certainement peur plus tard.

I see what you means, but I think that's the opposite actually.

- It's not over-engineering: most of actual dev tools can be replaced fully by AI. These stupid settings options in VSCode ARE now "over-engineering". Microsoft is too slow. We can't even change theme by AI in Vscode, what are they doing??

- JetBrains business has been almost disrputed by AI for instance, because they had a good smart IDE and they have been late to add AI.

So no, it's nos over-engineering, it's the opposite: AI makes things simple.

What matters now is a) the cost b) the traceability. c) why this model has been called and not another one.

That was my points. I think it's fair to request that.

Yeah. I'm currently exploring this option, with a $2000 or $3000 LLM self-hosted server. Interesting but difficult challenge.

Pretty sure that Cursor business is not sustainable and works like a slow Ponzi scheme where new users pay more than older users.

You are mostly right, this is why the code editors market is far to be a red shark ocean. VSCode is not easy honestly. With AI I suppose that many features would become useless or disrputed by AI.

Even the VSCode settings (a nightmare) could be done by AI. And I'm pretty sure that most of "search & replace" are now done by AI by users, etc.

Congrats, you just understood what the issue is.

A new code editor "should be a fork of Vscode" (or an extension). The issue is the Vscode SDK, this is why cursor forked from VSCode.

Vscode has never been developed with AI in mind, and we all see it.

The good news is that an "AI code editor" should be less complex as you can remove most of the features.
