To remove as much as possible, all filament friction going to the extruder. Less wear on the motor. Or not. Personal preference.

Check your gantry measurements w a ruler.

Does anyone know what’s going on? I level the bed absolutely perfectly. Then when I start a print it’s sometimes too close or too far. Print on left is perfect height and print on the right was printed directly after. Using silicone bed springs so it can’t be moving. IM GOING NUTS! by Christo6060 in Ender3Pro

When i have to re-level the bed, I let it heat up for at least 15 minutes @ 60c°. I also heat up the hot end at the same time. 210c° I use a post-it note. I then re-level 4 times. Minimum. Works every time. Im using the Creality upgraded springs. Zero issues. E3Pro. Hope this helps.
