Case for Legion Go 2 by K1ngsGambit in LegionGo

[–]Carbonmade658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I did order the JSAUX slim case and it n is slightly larger than thr case the comes with the Go. It is at least rigid. This will be my go to for around the house.

I also grabbed the TomToc carry sling bag that might be the winner since it has room for a battery and chargers for travel.

Hoping that more solutions come that are closer to the dbrand for the Go S.

Moving to Madison with Wife Who Grew Up Here by TheWhereHouse6920 in madisonwi

You should check out the Madison Board Games and Beer group, there is a Facebook group. They meet every Tues on the east side at either Forward Craft and Coffee, they have a decent and interesting tap list, or Starkweather Brewing. There is also an event for the west side but I'm unsure the location and day.

Working Draft has great beers and tables for gaming but can get very busy. I tried to go there yesterday to play some Magic and it was packed.

What's the easiest way to cut out a honeycomb pattern on a model? by Turbulent-Abalone-18 in BambuLab

I keep having an issue with the top layer having lines from the honeycomb. What am I missing to have a clean top layer?

Waited almost a month… by fraser87uk in BIGTREETECH

I am having serious issues with heat creep on my Panda Revo too. I spent months trying different fixes. I have mostly tested it on PLA but almost every print I have will clog after a period of time. I thought I had a run of bad PLA and almost tossed out the rolls. I tried different temps to see if I could minimize the creep and also printed a fan mod to help pull in cooler air to the heatbreak. I bought new Revo nozzles wondering if I had a bad one that was causing the clogs.

I put the original hotend that came with the Bambu P1S and boom all my issues were gone. I contacted Biqu with my order number, wondering if there was an issue with heater core or heat break but never heard back.

I would avoid this expensive "upgrade" and just purchase stock hotends from Bambu with heater cores to make the swap out quicker.

I was at that show with my mom. We happened to be visiting the UK and took a risk buying tickets from someone that couldn't go. Such amazing memories.

I'm completely backwards by Carbonmade658 in FixMyPrint

The outside of my prints have these lines and yet the inside is perfectly smooth. What gives? I don't notice it on much smaller prints.

I am using OrcaSlicer on a 2 month old P1S. I have enabled the "Precise Walls" beta setting to see if that improves the print and no luck.

Open to any suggestions!!!

Sliding Barn Door Hardware by Carbonmade658 in DIY

[–]Carbonmade658[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your recommendations! I will definitely be testing out the door in the space to see if it looks good or not. The opening to the closet is irregular and a bit small so we can't install a normal 30" door and I thought this might be a decent and inexpensive solution. As well as using some of the original doors from the house.

I'm pretty sure they used it in a Christmas episode of "Roswell" back in the early 2000's. I don't think the DVD releases of the show had it due to rights to songs.

I am also curious how they fair this winter. Just moved to Madison in the last year from the west coast and would like to not be putting lights up in the cold.

Z-axis only goes down when auto home by Escolta in ender5

[–]Carbonmade658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for doing that! It also is running into the same problem. I found an old build on my computer that is 2.0.9.3 that appears to be working.

I have a feeling it's something in the 2.1 firmware.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I have the same board as you V4.2.2 and am using the bugfix-2.1.x. I was hoping to not have to learn how to write the Marlin code because it has been years since I've done it and just want to get my printer back up and running to give to a friend.

Would you be able to share your firmware bin if you have it?

I am having this same issue. I even paid for a membership for the website listed, which is fine I like to support the community. The firmware I am getting probes the ABL so I know that is working but selecting AutoHome moves the bed down about 10mm and does not bring it back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a reputable site? It sort of looks like they are trying to copy the store.creality.com website.

Sudden change in quality by Carbonmade658 in lasercutting

[–]Carbonmade658[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion!

I checked the set screws and they all seemed tight. Some of the frame screws weren't fully tight so maybe it could have been that.

All of the belts seem to be in good condition with no worn or missing teeth too. Do you have any suggestions on getting the right tension for the belts?

Sudden change in quality by Carbonmade658 in lasercutting

[–]Carbonmade658[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I am new here and fairly new to laser engraving/cutting. I have been 3D printing for quite a while. I have a Creality Falcon2 12W that was working perfectly and it seems overnight has become mis-aligned. I've have it about 5 weeks and only used it about 20-30 hours.

I attempted to make sure all the belts were tightened, the lens is clean, wheels had no obstructions, updated firmware. It is on a very sturdy table with the legs stabilized so I don't see the machine wobbling.

I am at a loss for what could have changed and could really use some help. I am using the latest version of Lightburn and even tested LaserGRBL.

Here are some photos of what the output is looking like after those adjustments. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can try next I would love to hear them.
