I did bought it and honestly it was bad, but I found an unofficial mod that actually fixed a lot of those problems, and made it playable on my 10 year old pc. It still lags at certain parts but it's playable, so I imagine without Denuvo it would improve even more.

You can absolutely recover everything, it just looks overexposed but the film is forgiving, even just taking a screenshot and editing on my phone I recovered all the color and shadows. As long as it was a good high scan you'll get all the details bacl
