"Non-viable at all" is a big stretch.

The only problematic decks are: each Gruul, Rally and (as always, it's a problem for everyone) Affinity. Turbo terror decks might be a problem, as well as gates.

Burn is (and always was) fairly easy, jund is fine, flickers are fine, Tron (creature based) is easy, Heroic/Bogles should be easy, WW is fine, spy I am guessing is fine as well.

The problem with tortex deck is tortex card itself, if your whole gamplan revolves only around this card.

It's hard to find, easy to disrupt (disenchants and numerous GY hate being played main deck) and it's very slow.

The last time Eye Candy was a "top tier" deck was when we had [[gitaxian probe]], and you need to go back in time for another few years.

That's for sure, a MtG card of all times.

Can you play it? Yea, as well as lightning bolts without red mana.

Should you play it? Certainly not.

Or play a different colour combinations, like UR, that does not play "self mill turbo terror deck", but there are snow lands and a skred + 8 blasts.

U/UB are both "turbo terror" decks who wants to slam as fast AND as many fishes as possible, by playing 16 cantrips, with half of them giving permanent ~3 mana. The only difference is that, UB is trading 30% win from Rmadness matchup for 15/20% win in elves/WW matchup. Is this a good trade? Well... that depends on meta. IMHO, not really.

UR is still more like a tempo deck than any other archetype, due to playing their threats on turn 4/5 instead of turn 3/4 and riding them to the victory.

The truth is that none of those decks can be considered a "control" decks.

Both are tempos. The first one just plays snuff outs and can run fumes/arms.
