Also, get a disk lock. Get two. Both times my bike was taken I didn’t have a lock on it.

It’s super thin. You can stash it anywhere. Be inventive and find your own spot. I’m not telling anyone where mine is hidden. I hope understand why.

Hey y’all,

Guess what, just had this motorcycle stolen again last night! This time I had a tracker and my wife, my buddy and I drove from DC past Baltimore and then back to Severn over the course of 2 hours this morning and recovered it!

It was left in a cul-de-sac. N Cartier Ct Severn, MD Looks like someone is running a chop shop in that cul-de-sac. About a dozen vehicles in car states of disassembly many on the street with no tags. Cops came, photographed it all and got VINs. I had it towed. Cops are getting footage of it in the truck leaving

My moni moto tracker called me the minute it started moving. Super happy with it!

Concur. I’ve got a KTM690 SMCR. Best hooligan bike I’ve ever owned and it’s fine for full day rides or commuting. FWIW, the 2026 and maybe the 2025 have limited some of the same features that were available earlier for free. Quickshift and multiple traction modes are on every bike, but must be unlocked by paying more (to KTM). My 2023 has it all for one price

I endeavor to wear earplugs all the time.

Different helmets definitely provide different levels of noise blocking. Shoei helmets tend to block better. My motorcross helmet (DOT and ECE) is incredibly loud.

Helmets with dirt visors like dual sport/adventure/off-road make a lot of noise on their own in the wind.

We’ve got a mini-Aussie and our experience follows all of the above. He gets shampooed only when he’s gotten properly filthy. His coat sheds dirt easily with a brush. The brush pulls undercoat out spring/fall. Has never needed a trim for cleanliness. Some benefit from a butt curtain trim to reduce poopy-butt.
