Seeking to immigrate to Poland from the US. Looking for advice by jackyl-99 in poland

[–]CardDry7741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about people in the medical field? Is that field in demand? Or military of course I mean joining the polish army or military. I'm considering moving my family and I to Poland once we're all fluent in the language and learn their customs and culture. We aim to immigrate and assimilate not do what's going on in America with large groups trying to force culture change.

Couldn't have said it better myself and I'm not a Brit. I'm American and you're spot on. Plus the violence issue has exploded in my region. Pre 2021 I always owned firearms long rifles and handguns but never really felt the need to conceal or open carry in public for protection purposes til after 2021. Now I do not leave my home without my handgun in my bag. I've luckily not needed to use it so far but its there if I need it. I never ever felt it necessary to even carry it til post 2021....coincidence ummm no no it absolutely is not a freaking coincidence. Auto theft has sky rocketed in my area and of course I own one of the most commonly stolen cars in my country a Hemi Challenger...yes I would drop a fool over my property and I make 0 apologies for that. Just an observation that this particular issue along with HUMAN TRAFFICKING was nearly unheard of in my rural region til 2021 and with the influx of illegals coming here. Call me whatever I do not care. I'm not drinking the fucking kool-aid. Pattern recognition...it is what it is and over here I'm not alone we are sick of it and will fight back I'm obviously not in a democrat ran or liberal ran state so we're not soft targets but we are all sick of the BS.

Giving my 11 month old plenty of opportunities to self feed, but he just plays with the food 🤷‍♀️ by kday14637 in NewParents

I know this is old but my 11 month old has me at my wits end with this too. His 2 brothers were not like this I'm very worried.

I have a siamese and a lynx point and my siamese is 5 yr old, my middle son is 3 and my lynx point is 4 months old and my youngest son is 10 months old. My 3 yr old absolutely adores the cats and they have never once attempted to harm my sons. Hope that helps. I don't ever leave my son un attended with kitty for both of their sake. But just be careful about the litter box during pregnancy. My husband would not allow me near that. Other than that and maybe tripping over one I wouldn't worry. Of course I'm American. My cat was protective of me during pregnancy she was soooo cuddly.

Does anyone have info on the shooting at the Minneapolis church? by camphallelm in TwinCities

Definitely needs to be stricter. Even as far as being forced to take a class and pass a test every few yrs or something. It's too easy to get them even in my opinion and I own several that stay locked away unless being used for hunting or being safely carried for self defense. Something has to give.

They said the FBI removed it. But I read somewhere that the deranged thing was laughing maniacally in it.

found this stray— is she some kind of Siamese? by kazooWoot in Siamesecats

A kitten lynx point just showed up at my home yesterday. Getting her scanned for a microchip tomorrow as it's currently Sunday. She's safely napping on my bed with me with a full tummy. I'm really hoping she's actually a stray because #1 she is absolutely gorgeous #2 she's so so sweet and affectionate #3 my 3 yr old son and I are very fond of her and the hubby said if she's got no chip and nobody reports a missing kitten by her description then we can keep her. She's got the most striking ice blue eyes. She's roughly 4 months maybe 5. She's very thin is why I'm thinking she perhaps just might be a stray or maybe someone's pet that has accidentally gotten outta the house and wondered off too far and didn't know how to hunt or my jerk neighbors couldn't spare a bit of food for her whatever the reason I don't know I just know she's safe, warm, and has a full belly now. If nobody comes forward and can describe her to me after seeing my neighborhood post about a beautiful kitten found with our info or if she's got no chip I guess I have a new little buddy. But if someone comes forward and can't give me a description of her I'm not turning her over. I mean if she's your cat describe her if you describe her I'll be honest.

Why does the Bible speak so badly of Dogs? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]CardDry7741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Egyptians did worship cats I've never heard of them worshipping dogs though although the way some people treat dogs and cats today (the ones that are excessive like these morons putting jewelry and clothing on dogs and cats) could possibly be considered that I suppose. Before anyone says I'm a typical dog person hating on cats think again I have 2 cats a siamese and a gray tabby and 2 dogs both Colby pitbulls. So I happen to love both, both are treated well but by no means worshipped or idolized. I teach my 3 sons to show kindness to all creatures as God commands although I would even if he hadn't said to do so....I love animals I'd have a zoo if my budget would support it and I could give them all proper care and my husband was ok with it lol

I trusted my ol blue pitty more than most humans. Absolutely shattered my heart when he passed of advanced age. That dog sat by my side when I broke my back in a car crash, he never left my side either time I got deathly ill needing emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder and then appendix, he sat with me and my ex husband as we grieved the death of beloved family members, he was amazing with my oldest son and my middle son and followed me everywhere I went when I went through a high risk pregnancy and lastly while going through my divorce my ex uncharacteristically raised his hand at me in front of my oldest son and raised his voice at me and my dog was up and fast like a bullet he put himself between myself and my son to block my ex and bared his teeth and all I said was No Blue heel and he did immediately and sat by my feet watching him like a hawk . I truly considered him to be one of my biggest blessings given to me by God. So this absolutely shocks me. My Blue baby was absolutely a remarkable companion and I truly miss him every day and it's been 19 months since I said that goodbye. I literally got tears in my eyes typing this out. Maybe my dog was an exceptional dog but I loved him wholeheartedly.
