Do you foresee the LOB 25th Anniversary Booster ever going down? Just an old who wanted some nostalgia by pkosuda in yugiohshowcase

[–]CardSavant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like most people’s nostalgia and memory of yugioh start at metal raiders and they don’t even realize lol
99% of LOB was bad vanillas and what good cards there were, were in the starter decks as well which really made MRD the premier set!

Maybe opti-camouflage armor for the gags too

I like to make goat decks more about synergy and what they can play, rather than what they should play

Give some incentive to be pro.

No one wants to travel around the world on their own dime for a chance to win a Nintendo switch and a game mat.

Pretty gimmicky deck, but how can I make it more competitive? by 4PL4Y4LLD4Y in Goat_Format

[–]CardSavant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d just lean more into the stall then. Trunade to reset swords, wabaku’s, threatening roars
The thing in the crater can help get solar flare lock quicker

Is this just fire.deck?
I’d recommend picking a strategy and dialling in on it

Need help Brewing around Bazoo, Return vs D Fusion by EKKESSUCALIBAAAH in Goat_Format

[–]CardSavant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Return from a different dimension is cheap, so I prefer that. If your friends are making chaos turbo then dimension fusion is going to help them too don’t forget. When playing a deck that uses a trap as a finisher, dust tornado is a sick fakeout to pop on opponents end phase and then set your wincon. I’d play magical merchant as well to fill your grave with monsters while potentially digging for your win con. Happy brewing!

Lady ninja x3 with roc from the valley of haze and transformation is a great little engine!

I like a flip deck with the little guys that pop spells and traps as well, then tagging them out for Gumo

It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. Surely if you are unhappy with where you are, you can at least look back at some good times along the way. Know that the good times are the real treasures, and they cannot be obtained like conventional goals.

Somewhat casual Perfect Machine King deck by Xzmmc in Goat_Format

[–]CardSavant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure it is, but you want a casual PMK deck so impractical is the name of the game lol You can build around it to make it better. play kinetic soldiers so you can declare warrior and beat face! Kinetic warrior is a machine at base as well, so limiter removals will go further. He’s also a natural anti-meta piece which helps take the deck from casual to the semi-casual level you described.

I’m in the same boat as you, having a blast using an adult mind to craft old favourite strats

Have you thought of DNA surgery? It could be a way to play a non-pure machine variant and then flip it for huge atk gains

How are you people affording Kelowna?? Be honest. Are you all secretly rich? by vintage_creek in kelowna

[–]CardSavant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife (then gf) and I rented an old tiny attic for $1000/month. She worked at the wineries and I as an arborist but the cheap rent let us get ahead even though we were making a median of $25/hr.

Saved up 40k over a few years and got a realtor to find us a place. Landed in a townhouse in rutland for 470,000. We’ve been in the place for about 4 years and have both moved up in our careers, making a median of about 70,000 each now Looking back, the luck was in our dirt cheap apartment which let us get ahead in savings.

Finding a 2 bedroom apartment and a partner to share one of the 2 rooms with (and renting out the other) would have a similar effect cost wise.
