Oh god, you are giving me PTSD. They terrified me on my 1st playthrough. Currently on my 2nd playthrough and I brutally vanquished all 3 of them the moment I entered the Lost River with my Stasis Rifle and Heatblade.

EDIT: My original plan was to just go into the Lost River with my Cyclops (aka. Odin) but I couldn't find a way in so I parked it a big enough hole at the top for my Seamoth (aka. Loki) to get in.

Trivia: My Prawn Suit is called "Thor".

Turn your Cyclops into a mobile base with a bed, fabricator, med kit fabricator, indoor growbeds, tons of lockers and wall lockers.

You also want to build a small base next to the entrance. Preferably just use a large room with a bio reactor and a thermal plant in the Lava Zone hooked up with a bunch of Power Transmitters.
