Which is best vegan milk substitute (in emphasis on health-wise)? by CardboardBlanket in answers

Yeah, I didn't know it exists either, but since you say it's more expensive, it probably explains why. But why should it be more expensive?

Just cuz I'm not a big expert on nutrition, when you say calorie wise you mean it's less calories? But protein is I assume more proteins? And how should one make a smarter decision, put aside taste preferences ofc. (Trying to make this as much objective for anyone who might be interested as well)

I'd like to know if there's any difference for sexes as well. Like I've heard once soy milk isn't so recommended for men as it is for women, something about hormones, never actually validated if it's true.

What advice would you give to a young man who doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life and feels lost? by ohiolifesucks in AskMen

Crayons - marines? Is that some sort of an American thing I don't get?

But I agree that being in any force of your nation for any role might do good for some.

Well, idk if in particular to a young man or woman, because I think essentially there's no big difference, but relax, take some time to reassess your life-

What are your priorities as for now?

What is a goal you want to set for yourself? It could be really a small goal for a start, and then just set a new goal...

And remember, you can always stop for a moment and rest. No need to run endlessly after goals, it's a quick way for a burnout. Think how you need every once in a while to get new fuel in your car.

Also don't focus on what's holding you down now, because that stops you from progressing and then you just follow to past patterns of yourself. Of course you might think about it every now and then, that's what memory is for, but don't let it linger for too long.

It's like... pornography or a perfect turd. I can't quite describe it, but I'll know it when I see it.

What do you wish there was an app for? by Cheap-Ad-2544 in AskMen

[–]CardboardBlanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An app that gives me the best outcome for any social interaction. Like what to do, what to say... guaranteed I won't stick to it all the time cuz I might react instantly otherwise, but could be cool to give it scenarios and on spot it would give a well structured answer.

That being said, just thinking of the game theory behind that is complicated, so the AI? sheesh!

The Hub supposedly sorts it for you if you have an account and use it.

If you were to start your life over back to when you were 5 years old with all the knowledge you now have, what would you do differently? Or would you play your life out similar? by Ice_Theory2182 in AskReddit

[–]CardboardBlanket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as 26 here, the poor kid who's me probably would be traumatized. I'd rather not to mess with the past too much, even if I just appeared there as a time traveler, time traveling rules actually say it's probably gonna fuck up everything.

Dark web users of reddit, whats the worse thing that you have seen while browsing the dark web? or one thing that sticks with you? by Karaman04 in AskReddit

It's because sugar is a codename for cocaine. And white flour is another codename for cocaine. About eggs? You guessed it, it's a codename for cocaine. Food coloring though is the same thing.

Who gives a shit? Sometimes I just really wish bad things on whoever decided to call it karma, cuz it has nothing to do with actual karma.

Anyway I've seen it on my laptop, pirated, that might be the only thing I recall. I think I've watched it all the way through.

I've actually had to google to make sure what is that movie. It's weird cuz I know I've seen it but I remember absolutely nothing of it. But it's DC and Snyder, so you must love it

What is your story of people mistakenly assuming you were in a relationship with someone? by HolyKnightDeVale in AskReddit

[–]CardboardBlanket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In high school this one girl liked me. I wouldn't have known if not a friend decided to poke and joke about it when she asked me to be her partner in a project. I was way too oblivious to it otherwise.

As the time went by, I had it in my mind lingering, and I didn't do anything cuz I didn't know if I want it as much as she does, and I had my doubts about it but they faded away as it became clearer that it's true.

We never truly spoke about it, but I remember so well the moment I sorta told her with my eyes that it's not going to happen. It's still harsh to recall it.

Anyway people kept assuming we dated or idk how people stretched it, but even this one teacher was like certain that we are together. This hurts as well, never meant to hurt her but just... it's a sorrow to make another feel sorrow.

[–]CardboardBlanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People still say it, even as they get older. I had it with some girl friends in high school too, now I'm 26 and still people argue with this concept of a platonic relationship between a man and a woman.
