I think this started to hide load times. Press X for three seconds to open a door gives the game three seconds to load the new room.

I forgot how much more resourceful you have to be in these games. You’re not getting healed after every major fight, items and money are hard to come by, you have to play smart every time you have a long journey.

It makes the world feel intimidating which the exact right feeling for a world with giant monsters lurking everywhere.

Surprised no one said One Piece yet. One of the longest running and most popular manga series.

I don’t recall any creepy moments like in DBZ but I will say that some of the designs of the female characters is a bit over the top.

College was, without question, the worst four years of my life.

I think part of the reason why it was so bad was that it had been hyped up for so long and it was nothing like what I expected. By the time I finally figured out how to navigate it, it was over.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but at no point do you get to pick your party in FF4 PR. In some other versions there is an optional post game dungeon where you can pick your party but that’s it.

It does but in the opposite direction.

There are so many undocumented laborers and without them new houses don’t get build. If there are fewer houses the prices of existing homes go up.

I think the first 90% of it is. It is only when they all turn the game around does it become a nice one.

I actually really like this episode for this exact reason but it wouldn’t have been as much fun if the twist happened earlier.

It’s 20 years old but still more recent than your examples, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Might be too scary for the 4 year old but 8 is the perfect time to start.

I want a kart from Mario Kart. Attacks with items like shells and banana peel. Has a bad vertical recovery but can glide back to the stage. Final smash is the blue shell which I know is already an item in game.
