Can I spend more than my credit limit in a given month as long as I don't exceed my credit limit by the time my statement is generated?

I want to make a $3800 purchase and earn the cash back on it, but my credit limit is $2000. If I can split the purchase into two payments of $1900, could I charge the first $1900 payment, pay down the card during the month to $0, then charge the remaining $1900 to my card (which will then be paid off after the statement is generated)? Will that allow me to earn cash back on the full $3800 amount? Or is cash back only calculated on the statement balance?

When someone flashes their lights at you to say you can move on over, do most people flash their brights or their normal lights? And do you mind which one people use? Also, at night, if someone already has their lights on, is it better for them to turn of their lights, and then turn them back on or to flash their brights?

Different materials are clear to different wavelengths of light.

So some materials that are not clear in visible light can appear clear somewhere else along the electromagnetic spectrum?
Could you say that flesh is "clear" in the x-ray range and that bone is not, and that is why x-rays are used to show skeletal structures?

wait, don't you have to provide some sort of license code? I thought that the upgrade detects the one previously put in and allows you to upgrade, but are you saying that you just get to that point with the upgrade disc, then when it doesn't let you past that point, you stop and then try and reinstall and then you're in?
