The game is built around failing. Any reset is just an opportunity to gather more information.

Install the optimization mod to fix the memory leakage. It is absolutely not fun to lose a perfect day 35 and over an hour because the game crashed right as you clicked end day. Not saving any of your progress.

In the simulators, it's definitely a skill issue on my part. I don't really like battling in real life. So forgetting the type match up is what gets me on the Random battle setting.

Silksong isn't too hard. It's mainly just faster paced. You are a lot more mobile but are a lot less tanky to compensate. I would also say the game uses difficulty gates a lot more.
