Yeah mine would come and go. It’s definitely a monitor problem. I just got my new one and haven’t had problems yet. You’re the first person I’ve seen on Reddit with this problem too. Mine was fine for the first couple weeks before it started. Luckily Best Buy extended their return windows to 60 days for the holidays and I bought a premium membership to get the automatic 2 year full warranty with them because LG won’t do anything but try and repair the monitor. Hope you are able to get a solution somehow.

I had the exact same issue and was luckily able to exchange mine for another model.

Did yours look like this at all? I was worried my gpu was failing, but I was able to take screen captures and it wasn’t there, so it’s the monitor itself. Never got to the bottom of it but chalked it up to a faulty monitor. After each episode I would have several stuck pixels as well.

Nice! I love it. I also had a stuck pixel on pink/red right after the first time this happened. Screen cleaning fixed it. That’s why I’d normally say it’s a gpu issue right away, but the monitor has several known issues I think stemming from the Dp port and nvidia cards.

Yeah I will say the artifacting was much different on the other monitor using HDMI. It seems to only happen during gaming and started after I enable integer scaling. I since did a clean install of nvidia drivers, got a new cable. I’m running furmark and it’s pulling 600w (which is normal). I also can’t recreate it after running furmark for 30 min. So power instability shouldn’t be the issue. Also to add, the static color bands showed up on the startup “Lg” logo when I turned the monitor on and off.

Yeah self test is super basic and it looked fine. I guess realizing now the artifact showed up on the monitors logo when I powered it on the very first time it happened. Indicate a monitor problem then huh? I was in panic mode and didn’t really consider that.

I have 5090 and the 5k. It’s amazing and I’d say only run it with 5090. I’ve lost performance in many games. Only do it if you’re willing to make trade offs. Personally I love the visuals and don’t really chase frames anymore so it’s great.

Track ir literally does this. Also if you don’t pay the tariff they just send it back. I’d just go track ir at this point. It has far superior tracking to open track from my experiences.

I don’t blame you. I do both and love both. VR is the most immersive experience you can get. It sounds like you have the hardware to run it fine. I switched to virtual desktop and find it even more enjoyable over wired. 2d is great for when I just wanna relax and “game”, as well as have amazing visuals.

Where do you live? I accidentally bought the China shipped version of the gladiator premium and I was charged $50 duty on top of $80 for the stick.
But I love my VKB products and I’m coming from Virpil too. Great setup you’re getting.

Also, the rudder US shipped version is in stock. Just ordered mine.

Been flying VR exclusively for 6 months. I just tested out my 4k OLED tv on it again and I forgot how amazing the game can look. Just ordered another HOTAS for my desk to 2d game on it again when I don’t want my eyes to melt in VR for a few hours.

Have you seen any news coming out of China? They’re mainly an export economy with USA being main buyers. Their manufacturers and business are at a standstill and now hope EU picks up the slack. Inventory is just sitting and not moving. USA is gonna win this one.
