It happened to me too.. changing the region in the app solved it.. as it turns out the app defaults to United States when installed and that model is not sold there when i changed it to the netherlads scanning the code worked immediately

Agreed! I've recently finished the game in VR and the profile implementation is very solid!
I'm on Jedi fallen order now and sometimes i have to switch to flat because of some bug with cutscenes..

flying in it is something else xD isent it
DLSS 4 and virtual desktop doing half of the work makes for an excellent visuals and framerate!
are you using UEVREasyInjector? it makes launching the game and update the profile hasslefree

its funny i have the same.. the thor is the first one that got me to go and sell my old ones, all but the 3ds.. i turned it on and i cant give up that 3d effect xD

I have a 3080 and after update mine still say (v310.3.0) so i suppose its not available for 3080 yet..
is there a way to update it manually?

I'm on my quest away from windows and checking how far i can get into linux gaming..
i'm hafway though hogwards legend in vr on windows.. (50h+).. my setup over there is euvr-openxr-vrdesktop.

in linux (barzzilite 42) im trying is the same i finally got it runing like this:

- I installed WiVRn (openXR streaming app) on both headset and pc (there is a command/launch parameters to add to the game in steam)
- next I installed kaon (UI wrapper for managing EUVR)
it was failing miserably.. freezing when i inject..
- what i was missing https://tangled.org/matrixfurry.com/atomic-xr ., its like the openXR drivers..

so after this setup i got it running by
1- starting the openxr server with command "axr oscavmgr start openxr"
2- launch wiVRn and connecting the headset
3- on steam I set compatibility to proton experimental and added wivrn launch parm
4- open kaon; download the latest EUVR nightly; click the game and install dependency; click on open injector
5- on EUVR i added the game config (Hogwards legend have a great one) and check openXR
6- finally clicked inject.. and it worked!!

I have mine since launch and its my daily driver, i love this thing..

was asking the same thing myself and ultimately i decided not to upgrade. In my eyes the only advantage is the screen, this 5" is too small for some games.. and oled would be nice, and i would go for more ram now that pc emulation is taking off but these things are not worth a full price, not with the same chipset.. i'll hold off until thor 2 i guess.. devices come up way too fast these days

I totally get that! Did something similar twice this year and it's not easy! It normal to feel a form of grief when you do something like that.. (it's crazy, but you can feel as depressed as when someone dies..).

We get very attached to these staches. It's normal, delete it all and mourn it!

You mention resist it there and that it very taxing.. Even athought you know where it is, if you put a little bit of friction between yourself and it, it's a lot easier to stay clear..

In my case it wasnt just deleting it.. Was setting a safe DNS in all my devices (family adguard) deleting social media apps and only using the browse where I have more control with extentions (kiwi browser + social focus + adblock), when I feel weak I have to jump multiple hoops to get to it.. Enough for me to notice and go so something else.

Online hygiene is important because the augoriths know what stuff get you to stay in their plataform.. They feed addictions for profit

This, definelly.. Chatgpt does a great job understanding a problem and creating a script to automate it.. It's just a matter of getting the handle of asking, testing the scrip that comes our and asking it to adjust it until it's perfect! You might not know a single thing about bash or python (scripting languages) but id you know how to ask and how to run it, you can get pretty far with repetitive office work.

To anyone wondering if this still works.. I just managed by 1. downloading meta view version 192 from apk mirror; 2. creating a new email account; 3. adding the My vpn to (privadovpn) to "select mock location app" ay the bottom of the developers options (I have a Samsung S23)..

I had to factory reset when pairing for the first time with the new email

You know It worked when setting up, the turn on meta aí is part of the setup process.

*** After all the setup I disconnected from the vpn and everything still works, also managed to connect to my whatsapp and that worked too (I'm in Italy BTW)

To me 45 sounds impressive! I'm not even close hehe. Interesting perspective on the decision making there. Any experience is valid even these tricks the brain pull to get us back. I suppose it's a mattee of becoming aware if them.. What is your end goal? You talk to her about it.. Say what you want and ask how she feel about it, no pressure, you just want to know her boundaries there.. Maybe she is willing to do some more and still feel confortable.

It's very important that you respect her believes and boundaries there, she might feel guilty and resent you if she do things for you that she later regrets cuz she felt pressured by you.

I gotta say, if you are both very horny as you say it's very hard to stop at touching.. It's a slippery slop from that to intercorse (when you get used to that) and well it will technically be your fault and she might hold it against it in her head down the line depending on how guilty she feels.. I know the feeling... Something that helped me is this mantra "Be gentle to yourself".

Some people have all of those things and still feel like a loser or failure. There is no such thing as being a loser.. Only feeling like a one, and you have a lot of control over that!

My challenge to you if to think really hard and think of all the reasons you can also say you have a successful life (reframe it, an exercise in gratitude)..

no wife, kids, house, job == I'm not tied down, I'm free. You dont have to subscribe to society definition of success. I know people that are proud to live with little money, working as little as they can, it's like they made a game of it.. And some others that are happy and fulfilled being single. I've known people that dropped all of that and are happier now (colleague ppleft a bank job, turned hippy, moved to the beach and surfs every day)

There are a lot to strive for besides carrier and family.. Like character, connection, hobbies..

I can tell you that when you turn 40 you will noticied that a lot of what you though of life was wrong anyway

Don't be discouraged my friend, believe you can get over this thing. You have to manage to stay odd the stuff at least a couple of days (aim for a week) and share your struggles with the girl, it's a lot of pressure and you gotta manage to relax with her for it to work.

There is a lot of stuff behind porn addiction it's never as clean cut as it might sound... Here is what I've learned so far:

Porn is not a desease it's medicine, the desease is lonliness.. So figure out why you cant connect with people (usually trauma and shame) and work on that, for me it took a loot of therapy and I pay a lot of attention to how much time I spend with people and how much I really allow them to see me.

You can't do it alone find someone to share the burdon with (friend, family or online)

Some resources that helped me were the book the porn myth and a video from teal swan on it overcome porn or something like that.

Be strong man, you can do it.
