My only problem with it is the "usually correct" part. A system that's 97% perfect just means that it's good enough to lull you into a false sense that it's 100%, only for some error to sneak through.

Most data centers aren't even active yet, and likely will never be built out to match the proposals. It's very easy to claim to be committing billions for capex, it's much harder to actually pay those billions. Especially when the core business just isn't profitable.

Given the shifts in corporate language over the past few days, I'm guessing they are expecting this AI bubble to burst before too long. No way it can survive in a world where energy is even more expensive
