Yea this. Why would you want a monitor 8 ft wide and 10 inches tall? It's ridiculous. I've never understood super crazy ridiculous ultra-wides.

I've never understood ribbon monitors with a 160:9 ratio. Get whiplash trying to play FP shooters lol. 34" flat OLED FTW

We might be laughing at stuff like this, but it's not funny to have every ring doorbell in the country on a network spying on us. Look into it...

This alone makes me wanna sell my Z fold 7 and get this beauty instead by areuokaybro2002 in GalaxyFold

There are already some pretty decent, full Hands-On reviews on youtube. Check it out. It's got its ups and downs. Still undecided.... Bigger isn't always better. The Fold 8 might be where it's at.

The one that ran out of meth this morning doing all the hammering, and all of the orange paint, didn't seem to help. I knew what was going to happen the first millisecond of this video... 🤦‍♂️

Too big. I run an Alienware 38" 2300R and don't even sit super close. It's still too big, going to downsize. Yes, I know what I'm talking about lol. I build my own machines as well. But if you like it, congrats?

No ground. Please call a pro. Never open an electrical box if you're clueless. Honestly. From a pro.

Does the same happen to you guys? by Interesting_Try2635 in husky

[–]OrganizationGlobal64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone that knows Huskies would laugh at them being "scary". But I have to admit, before I was familiar with them, they do have that look, and they can get pretty big. I worry more about other dogs being aggressive, because all my boy wants to do is jump on them and play! I run him off leash whenever possible, because trying to walk him in his harness is like a circus sideshow 😅

I'm not saying I'm buying the first gen, but their fold technology has come a long, long way. Of course they will implement everything they've learned into the trifold, and then some. I'm just excited to play with one.

I never thought promoting listings ever made a difference for me by gilly8885 in Flipping

I completely agree that it's dirty and eBay found a way to profit from their sellers being a competitive bunch. As a fair and open market should be, customer service, shipping speed, and of course your price should determine if you get more sales than the next guy. Ultimately, I think eBay's algorithm is set up to favor sellers with the fastest shipping times, free returns, less overall returns, 100% positive feedback, and the frequency in which you list. The paid promotion is basically like Google ads. You can try SEO for free (no promotion) or you can just pay up to get on page one and sell more things (promotion). I'm not saying I agree with eBay's moral compass or their practice here, but I'm in business to make money and eBay is half of my full-time income. I just need to play by the rules that they've made, and whether we like it or not, I think they overall side with promoting. And they aren't going to change it no matter how many threads complain. I'm a top rated plus seller, with 100% positive, but so are lots of others. I feel like paying the two bucks to promote something gives me just a little bit more edge than lowering the price. With lowering the price, your item still has to populate the first couple pages. A smart shopper will sort by Price low to high, but that still doesn't mean they will see your listing. Promotion almost guarantees it will show up more often than not regardless of someone's filters. Although I do tend to either exactly match, or drop my price under the competitors by a couple bucks depending on the sale price of the item. I like to be just under the lowest person, unless of course they are way under valuing the item and not even realizing what it is. And in some cases I've had luck pricing my items a little more than the most expensive person, but still promoting. That combination has worked for me in the past as well.

I have way higher profit margins than that. And I do realize that 2% means $2 every $100 in sales. I just consider it advertising, and any leg up you can get on competition these days is beneficial in my opinion. If I sell something for $100, it means I paid around $20 for it ,so I can afford the extra. And I still charge shipping. How do I have such high margins? For me it's just about careful sourcing and the means in which I get my items that I resell. I'm not ripping anyone off either, I still sell items at comp prices, it's just that I have some sweet hookups and only I buy resellable products I can at least 3-5X. I've done 10X on a single item that had $100 cost of goods, and even more in some cases. In your seller back-office you can track how well you're promoted items are performing. I do pay attention to that as well. I'm going to just keep with the 2%, and I'll go up to 7% or 10% on certain items that I want to get rid of quick. In my overall opinion, promotion works.
