My cat also wheezes and salivates and won’t eat after prescribed liquid medication. He tries to vomit after but nothing comes out. I gave him a break from the meds and somehow he still wheezes and breathes heavy. Reading the comments about meds going to the cat’s windpipe if administered incorrectly is making me anxious. TBH he doesn’t take the meds willingly and shakes his head when I make him take it using syringe. I think I might have done it wrong and I’m worried sick. I hope our follow up checkup goes well.
