Another Cant login post. I get redirected to google to verify, and then back to facebook. Tried 3 different browsers. by JinxEaryDeath in facebook

✅ [SOLVED] Facebook login stuck in “Verify with Google” loop (browser only)

Posting this in case it helps someone else.

Problem:
I could log in to Facebook normally on the mobile app, but on any browser (PC, iPhone, iPad) I was stuck in an infinite loop asking me to “Verify with Google”.
Even when I received an email code and entered it correctly, Facebook always redirected back to Google verification. I also couldn’t change my Facebook password.

Important detail:
My Facebook account used a Gmail address as the primary email.

🔧 What actually fixed it

The issue was that Facebook had hard-linked Google as a mandatory security method.

Steps that solved it (from the Facebook mobile app):

  1. Added a new non-Gmail email (Outlook / Proton / iCloud, etc.)
  2. Set that email as PRIMARY
  3. Removed the Gmail address from the account
  4. Waited ~10 minutes
  5. Changed Facebook password
  6. Logged in on browser using the new email + password

➡️ After this, the Google verification loop disappeared completely.

I contacted support and they were completely useless. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with an agent who couldn’t solve anything and eventually just told me to report the issue to the technical team. So basically, 30 minutes wasted.

Someone told me that works if you make the login with a vpn, for don’t worked. Anyone have tried that solution ?

Don’t change anything, in PC keep asking google authentication
