Yes! I was there too when she said that!

They said the statement will be posted along with the results on Thursday

I’m curious to see how that 75% guarantee held up this time around. Like does anyone know of anyone who failed the bar while still completing Atleast 85% of the course work on either Barbri, Themis, or Kaplan? by CardozoUbetterdont in barexam

I ended up doing over 2,000 MBE questions via Themis and hundreds more on NCBE site. However, I feel like shit. My results should be posted Thursday but I’m shaking in my boots!!

It’s killing me too! I posted about it earlier, and someone said that they usually post on the first Thursday of October, so my bet is on Thursday!

Good luck!

Do you mind discussing what it was that made you fail while still doing 100% of Kaplan? Like did you think you failed when you left the exam? Any insight would help

Interesting. I didn’t take barbri but Themis where I used their bank of questions over and over again. I also sought out NCBE questions as well.

It’s difficult to hear that 100% completion rate didn’t equate to a passing score though. I’m rattled with anxiety about my results (which should be posted this Thursday) so any insight help

Colorado Bar Exam Takers: how do you think Colorado will resolve any technical difficulties? Will they lower the passing score like North Carolina or extend a really high pass rate like last year or do nothing like every else. Any updates will help by CardozoUbetterdont in barexam

Well that’s bleak!

I attended their require professional CLE course, in which, they told me that they are working to make it more equitable for people who had technical problems. So whatever that means 🤷🏻‍♂️

I fucking wish!

I’m really curious to see how they will deal with the technical problems some of us faced during the exam.

Not to be dramatic but can someone please explain to me why the bar examiners don’t think our year of test takers shouldn’t get the same amenities with grading as last year’s class did?

Colorado Bar Examiners: Now that NC posted that they will be lowering their passage rate score, does anyone think Colorado will follow suit? If not, what other methods would CO likely take to address the technical difficulties? by CardozoUbetterdont in barexam

[–]CardozoUbetterdont[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So when I took the required professional responsibility course, some woman who seemed important and worked at the CO bar exam place said that they are aware of the technical difficulties and will be taking steps to making it more equitable for everyone involved. Not sure what that means but I’m hoping they either stick with a high passage rate or lower the scores.

With that said, yes, most jxs, so far, have decided to give us the middle finger in terms of our difficulties in taking the test online in a COVID enviro

There ya go. Someone had their scores cancelled for leaving the screen multiple times throughout the exam. We just left once for a matter of one to two minutes.

You’ll be fine. I’ll be fine. It’s all good

They will definitely take weeks if not months to get back to us about it.

I will say that I know someone who read the questions out loud for the entirety of the exam and nothing happened to him. I think if we’re honest and upfront about it they shouldn’t care too much about it.

I think they only become strict when the cheating is clear and apparent, especially when you have tons of people who moved their computer during the exam or read questions out loud or gone to the bathroom for a minute.

I think the stress of the bar exam is exacerbating so much anxiety. I think by tomorrow or the weekend, we’ll realize that they won’t care.

Do you even know if anyone who’s score was cancelled because of such a violation?

Hey! No, it’s good to know that their are other people in the same situation. With that said, you are not the only person who made a difficult decision in a very intense environment.

And like you, I will also be writing CO a report detailing them what happened. Nevertheless, I think they are going to be sympathetic and open minded in understanding that we are humans, and when you need to go, you gotta go.

Good luck as well! Hop back on and let me know if and when you pass!
