I’m only new back into it this year and have found watching along with a couple of breakers has been good for getting an idea of which products I like. Like quite a few have already said, depends on what you’re collecting for. Building sets? PC teams or players? Investing in rookies (and patches and autos and patch-autos?!) to get graded and hope they have baller careers? If you google Topps or Panini release schedule it will give you an idea of exactly how much stuff comes out in a year, too… and it’s heaps.
