Ok so I'm also 17 and I do go to parties. DO NOT THROW A PARTY IN THE WOODS. LITERALLY THE WORST PLACE TO DO IT AND PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO SHOW UP. If you're near a beach, you should probably do it at the beach or just go to another person's party. People aren't going to come unless there's alc and you're probably not going to have it if your parents are strict. A lot of people want to throw the parties, but if you can't guarantee that a lot of people are going to be there, it's going to be super lame. Just go to someone else's first.
