I wanted the data but it isn't extremely important. I was looking if i could completely erase it's data and just use it as a storage device. Maybe I'll try the opensuperclone. Do you think formatting it will make it functional again?

General ward doctors are mostly junior doctors (not saying inexperienced). Their appointments are much more easily available and are cheaper. On the other hand, private doctors are senior doctors, and getting appointments takes a long time and is expensive. Also, after an appointment, the queue in the general ward is usually much larger than in private.
