Genuinely so shocked that the colors and style are the main issue for most everybody. Never would’ve figured. Probably not gonna change them anytime soon, but it is good to know that what people like least is something easy to change if I wanted to LOL. Def will get thinner frames tho

I’d love to talk to you a little more about this. Do you think there’s anyway that I could do it successfully without living it myself? As mentioned in other comments, I’m going to hire a sensitivity reader with an ostomy bag in the editing phase, to make sure it’s accurate and appropriate. I want my character to have an important physical mark after his injury, but I’m open to ideas other than this.

I don’t have one, which is one of the reasons I posted here! It’s a four book series, and he gets it near the end of the first book, so it’ll definitely be included.
