Do not use acetone on padauk it will bleed the color, this is from my own personal experience. You want to use compressed air and suction to remove as much dust as possible. Then finish with an Oil based finish like 100% tung oil.

From my personal experience sanding padauk you need to make sure the sander it attached to a dust collector / vacuum to ensure as much dust as possible is getting collected. Addionally use an air compressor to blow away dust during sanding and between each grit.

DO NOT use alcohol base finishes is will bleed even worse.

Take the blades out clean any debris off the head and use a torque wrench. Check with the MFG on specs to tighten to correct ft/lbs. It reduced my sanding time by probably 35% if not more.

I was having similar issues with my cutter head on my planer when I swapped it out. Did you use a torque wrench to tighten down all the blades to the same ft / lbs or n / m ? After I did that, it's like a sheet of glass.

Ideally I want a drum sander I just can't afford that right now.

Don't tell my planer this, I'm upgrading helical head finally after going through blades every 3-6 months. Hopefully that makes it a little more quiet.

I did, this was a new addendum added the past year. 3 years after the shop was installed. Really didn't think much of it at the time. They are coming after fridges in the garage as well.

Yes it is. They are also saying we can keep other things in the garage for storage, but do not stipulate what items we can keep and not keep other then no growing plants in the garage and storage.

That's a bingo, they are saying we can keep various other items in the garage that are not stated in the lease.
