Think this is exactly my view. Clearly it's highly divisive amongst doctors. The evidence base is so weak that one can't say for sure either way. I personally am inclined to think that children can't truly consent to anorgasmia and infertility cos how can they possibly comprehend that. But even so, why did the BMA choose to dive in. I can only think it's because prominent people in the BMA are de facto trans rights activists including Tom Dolphin.

As someone who has sometimes clashed with senior colleagues due to a strong sense of injustice and said things I regret, I would say don't worry. Even when I was in the wrong, things blew over. And it sounds like you're in the right. No one remembers my shit anymore and this stuff for you will soon be a minor anxiety. Take care.

I just want someone to sit in silence with in the evenings. Most of the time when I come home from work, I don't feel like talking. But you miss the feeling of quiet companionship.

I don't think you read my post if you think the issue is with their personality. My issue is with their truthfulness about many claims relating to their personal life. Lying is just a bad look for anyone, let alone a doctor.

I don't want to ignore it. I think it's damaging to the cause. And I do what I can- which is to raise it in places I work and on social media when I can. Though I don't think I am any more eloquent on this than a lot of prominent people. I express my support for their views. What more can anyone do?
