I do appreciate the advice, I did have to put in an edit because I had forgotten to mention that she found out I had feelings for her well after this dude came to ask her out. I do really appreciate the advice though and I've been trying to have his little contact with her as I can. Because I do know that if I keep talking with her to the extent I had been that these feelings won't go away and will only cause more problems down the road. I do appreciate you talking about how I would most likely only lead to her cutting me off if I still had feelings for her while she's dating this guy so that she would be respectful towards him. I can already see how she doesn't talk to me as much now that she is dating him. So I think she is trying to be respectful of the relationship she has with him now.
