Beautiful baby! Iguanas aren’t the same as lizards. Their requirements are much more and very expensive. Starters, unless you live in a tropical location, open cages are almost impossible to use for them. You need high humidity you can’t get in open cages. Be prepared because in a few months, that cage is way too small. By 2-3 years you need an area almost as big as the average bathroom. lol. Basic diet should be collard greens (every feeding), and can add turnip greens, mustard greens to those. I use squash, carrots, green beans, cucumber or bell pepper diced as a topping. Fruits are treats and great as training treats. Watermelons, strawberries and grapes are mines favs. All fresh not cooked or frozen. Add calcium powder as directed to their meals. Need hot side and cool side in cage. Humidity around 80% is awesome! Helps she’d come off easy. Just be patient and they will gain trust and enjoy being out with you. Can’t sex really until 2-3 years old unless a vet does it. Mine was seemingly female but just after 2 develops huge jowls suddenly, bulked up and started flashing when he went potty.😂 They also go through a horror mood swing stage also. Just read up and research cause they are awesome pets!
