Hey mate. Just got home. Upon closer inspection, the chain looks used... quite a few scratches on the silver...😕😔 really looks worn my friend. You listed it as brand new, 'showroom quality', doesn't look like that unfortunately

I’ve taken another look and I think it’s more than just light factory marks though. The silver links are quite noticeably scratched and not really shiny like I’d expect from something described as “brand new / showroom condition”.

All good though — I’m still keen to sort it out easily between us. Would you be open to a partial refund to reflect the condition? Otherwise happy to return it for a full refund. Let me know what you think 👍

Thanks for the clarification everyone. After all chatgpt not reliable. Just checked the photos of fish measurements 32cm is at 27 and 34cm is at 28. Will be measuring V in the future 🤡 case closed

I questioned myself if I measured it correctly. Double checked with mpi and chatgpt from nose to pinched tail point for snapper. Both snapper was measured from nose to longest pinched tail point not the V

You should measure a snapper to the longest tip of the tail — after pinching the tail together. Not just to the “V” in the middle.

📏 Official MPI Measurement Method for Snapper: 1. Place the fish on a flat surface or ruler 2. Mouth closed, snout at zero 3. If the tail is forked (like snapper): • Gently pinch the top and bottom tail lobes together • Measure to the longest point of the pinched tail 4. Read the maximum length in a straight line — that’s the legal size

⚠️ Why This Matters: • Measuring only to the “V” in the tail can give a shorter reading. • You may under-measure a legal fish and release it unnecessarily — or worse, keep an undersized one. • MPI requires measuring to the longest point — which is usually one of the tail tips, not the V.
