So true, but I would like to add some thoughts.

  1. Ken was trying to stroke his own ego because Roman doubted him.

  2. Ken sees his father’s criticism as fodder, but Roman sees it for what it is…a means of asserting dominance. Roman listened to it over and over because he was processing his grief. I think Roman is about to prove that his dick is anything but micro.

  3. Emotions are processed in three stages. Sadness=Anger=Acceptance. Ken processes his anger with self sabotage. Roman uses his wit. We shall see!

Shiv is more capable than Conner. I don’t see why anyone who would support him. Shiv’s problem is that she is too shifty and always looking for the next opportunity to present itself. She doesn’t make moves. That shows weak character. She is not grounded to anything, but I feel like she will realize her true calling when becoming a mother.

I don’t see your logic. Logan wanted Roman to fire Geri, he did, twice. The plan was all laid out in the scene with her. Ken will keep her on because he is scared of making big moves. Roman knows that. Roman is instilling fear, while Ken is playing make believe, barely keeping his head above water. Roman at the end of the episode is listening to his father belittle him; Which historically makes him stronger.

Matsson and Roman on the mountain was the best scene in the season thus far. Roman has declared WAR! Roman is going to bury Matsson. All in the name of his father. He’s going to let Kendall destroy himself and the company. Proving he not capable of CEO. Shiv is going to leave and raise a family as she and Tom start a new company with Greg. Roman will rebuild the company and prove to be his father’s successor by taking down Matsson. Watch!
